I recently went to Fingerprinting Express and had such a great experience from start to finish. I…read morebrought my 7-year-old daughter with me, and as soon as we walked in, I was warmly greeted by the woman at the front desk. She explained everything clearly and showed me how to scan the board to fill out my information. While I was completing the paperwork, another staff member was cleaning the lobby area which already looked spotless! They even had a screen with Candy Crush that kept my daughter entertained during the short wait. One thing I really appreciated was the attention to detail and kindness from the staff. I explained how to pronounce my name (it's not an easy one), and both employees made the effort to say it correctly afterward. That meant a lot to me. The technician also reminded me to put my ID away after returning it which honestly helped because with my ADHD, I probably would've forgotten it there. They offered to let my daughter come back with me during the fingerprinting process, but she was comfortable sitting at the table in the back. The actual fingerprinting took less than 5 minutes, and Sara, the technician, was incredibly friendly, courteous, and easy to talk to. The entire office was clean, organized, and welcoming. One employee even apologized for "the mess," but there truly was no mess at all! I was in and out within about 15 minutes total. I highly recommend Fingerprinting Express for any fingerprinting needs. They also offer notary, passport, and visa photo services, and I would absolutely return for those services in the future.

The only reason it doesn't get a 5 Star is because this place has a tip option when you pay with a card. Why is it even an option at a place like this? I didn't get my finger prints done for the fun of it. I had to do as required by the state to keep my gaming license. If it was a mobile service and they came to my house, I guess I could see why they'd have a tip option. If the owner sees this, please remove that tip option off your payment screen so people aren't caught off guard like I was & just push the first option which was 15%. Did I want to tip that, no. But it felt awkward that it was even on there to begin with. If it's still there next time I need finger prints done again I will walk out & find a place that isn't making this uncomfortable tip option a thing. Update response: I've had to get my prints done since 2006 for my NGC. Not once in that time have I heard anyone saying they wish they could tip for that service. Why? Because it's not a service we seek out to do. It is a service we are required to get. Tipping culture has taken over at every place imaginable now for some reason and it truly needs to stop. Yes, there's an option to skip the tip. However, when you're not even aware that it's coming because as I said this isn't a service any of us do for the "fun" of it. It makes it very awkward when it does pop up. I talked to a lot of people in the same industry that say the same thing about it being ridiculous that it even exists. If you feel your employees should make more (and they were great by the way, this has nothing to do with them) you should pay them more. At no time tho, should a customer be presented with an option to tip when we are only there because we are required to be in order to get the documents we need/pay for to keep our jobs. If you want to start a mobile service to where they drive to our houses to do this service, then sure I guess that'd be tip worthy service. As it stands now tho, it's not & it shouldn't be there. Theres many other places in Vegas to get fingerprints done so it's up to you if you want to keep it on there & make the majority uncomfortable. If that rare person that wants to tip for a forced services let them do it in cash by putting a bucket on the counter.
