They have buckets for you to grab, or you can bring your own. You get charged per pound that you pick and pay when you're done! They had so many strawberries ready to pick, I had so much fun doing this with my friends kids! I was already planning on making a homemade strawberry shortcake when I got home. They have a cute little coffee truck which I obviously had to stop by. If you have a strawberry latte during strawberry season - you can count on me to grab one! It was so good, and not too sweet or tart from the strawberry! I also had to grab their strawberry donuts from the farm stand. Which, needless to say ... they did not make it home with me. We scarfed those down! Incredible. I loved the "petting zoo" area. You can feed the goats, sit in the rabbit pen and give them some pets, and play with the piglets! Such a cute add on to this experience; and the petting zoo was no charge! They also have a ton of toys and bounce houses for the kiddos. If you're looking for a fun strawberry picking experience, give them a try!

Other parking is off street, however be mindful to not block residential drives and walks. I really enjoyed the park layout of the market with its shady tree lined paths with vendors spread out nicely. If I had to guess it's on the smaller side to others markets in the 757. Likely around 35 vendors. I purchased a sourdough loaf from Top Knot and veggies from another. I browsed many others. The anchor seems to be Klassic Doughnut's with a tremendous following and rightfully so. The line was too long today with my late arrival to partake in a treat. Had to stroll in here waste some time cause I had another appointment but I love this farmers market. I started coming here a year ago and I see it is grown tremendously. There is the donut truck is always out here and there's always a line and I see now that they're joined by a coffee spot who had a line as well. I can't stand in line in heat, even though I would love to try their donuts. I think I'm gonna have to make an effort to get up and be there when they first open when the line may not be as long but other than that, they have amazing things at this farmers market and I love it so.

The event included food trucks and a variety of vendors. My friend and I grabbed some BBQ from S&J Catering and it was delicious. We also grabbed donuts from Klassic Donuts and Glazed & Infuzed as well, which were very tasty. As we walked through the different shops, I absolutely loved all the fresh local, produce that was available. One of the shops offered a variety of jarred items and sauces so I purchased Crab Salsa and Spicy Pickled Okra. Both were very good and I definitely need to go back and get more! The market is only open every other Friday from 4-7 PM, but it is absolutely worth making the trip during those limited hours! They have an amazing group of vendors selling items such as fresh produce, goat's milk soap, local honey, cheeses, herbs, flowers, baked goods, coffee, and SO MUCH MORE. I was thrilled with the wide variety of stops and didn't leave until I had checked out every vendor. I wound up buying lavender black tea from Green Leaf Pebble Tea Spa, a bunch of gorgeous flowers from Studio Posy, and a bunch of broccolini (I didn't catch this vendor's name ). I could have chosen something at every stop! Everyone I spoke to was highly knowledgeable about their products and very friendly. The market is located at Blair Middle School and there are two city lots there on Spotswood with plenty of parking.
