She was patient , knowledgeable, and helpful in helping me find a new Primary care provider and book an apt. She went above and beyond in helping me understand how their system works which is RARE customer service these days. The reviews here are obviously all over the place. SACH is a pretty big network with multiple locations, sectors of health (dental, health, etc) and many providers. If you're considering SACH look into specific drs. and clinics more than these general yelp reviews. read more

While I understand that thorough background checks are standard, the screening process for RDA dental position felt excessively adversarial rather than collaborative. They had me do very intensive vaccinations and physical exam including missing a few days off work with still no guarantee of hire even though evidently all my credentials are legit . My professional references were contacted before a formal interview took place, which unfortunately compromised my standing with my current employer. Furthermore, the tone of the interviews felt discouraging. Instead of evaluating my qualifications objectively, the recruiter Vanesa Villaruel seemed focused on undermining my credentials and questioning my experience. Given that your Dental office is facing staffing shortages, I expected a more welcoming and motivating candidate experience.I no longer wish to be considered for this role, as the recruitment process does not align with a supportive or professional work environment. I hope this feedback helps improve your hiring process in the future. But by researching after with present customer service, I'm glad I didn't get hired . The SB dental department doesn't take phone calls for renewal prescriptions. and they rush you in and out like cattle. I had four cavities and they say they can only do one at a time so my next appointment isn't until December and it's October. Tried three times to get the doctor to get me a renewal on my antibiotics. Never heard back from them once. I even tried it by internet that they are pushing. The MyChart thing that they are pushing is a horrible experience for seniors. To top it all off when you dial there a number the voicemr43 differail program does not direct you to the dental department as instructed on the voice systent times over the year and they said thank you, we'll fix it---of course that was never done. Another thing that Is VERY noticeable at SAC SB and SAC Indio is that there is not one White or Black person working there. After multiple visits. There is no diversity in race. I find it hard to believe that other people are not applying. I am Hispanic so I know I am being fair. read more

Yall sac overall is good especially the one on G st and 3rd st so my stars are based on the one in hospitality! YALL do NOT go to the one in hospitality i had such a bad experience with a doctor there he was very dismissive and mis communicated and when i explained to him my problems he wouldn't really believe me. He would tell me to explain my pain and where it's at and I woukd of course, but then he would make me feel as if i was stupid and crazy after "proving" me wrong because I would flinch or ick at the feeling of his hands touching my body. Which is normal for me, I'm tickalish and when it comes to touching my body i flinch! He didn't look further into it and took my reaction as the answer. I felt like crying I cannot lie it was very frustrating because he made me feel as if I was just going to the doctors just to complain. The nurses and people at the front desk are so sweet, at least the ones I have dealt with. A few weeks ago I went in to see Dr Lee and it was the worst experience I've had. She didn't listen to the issues I went in with. She just wanted to fill me up with medication. I specifically told her I didn't want that at the beginning of my appointment. I had to do lab work and went back in for the results with Dr Robinson and I can say I found my new primary doctor. He actually listened to me and suggested other routes. I'm unable to eat much at all most definitely unable to eat a healthy diet fruit/veg because they removed most all my lower side teeth. I loved my jaw line I never would have agreed to it but I was told in order for ins to cover a lower partial I have to agree to extract them. But they lied, I cant eat and now have premature aging from severe bone loss, and they still are trying to make me pay for the partial at my nxt appointment 9th over 400. I cant look at myself or take pics go out I WANT TO DIE. I feel they owe me a full set of implants for this epic lie that was done to me. read more

This place has the Best team working in their office. Everyone is so kind, polite and respectful. While I was there I witnessed the office staff help various patients-- they called IEHP for a ride for one lady in a wheelchair--- they assisted another in filling out her paperwork--- fixed a gentleman's misunderstands. The back office is just as wonderful to be around-- they did not make me wait, at all, they explained ever procedure and made me feel comfortable with everything going on. A horrible place; I came here with a friend and they tend to treat people sub-humanly. The front desk associate was a grade A B-WORD (butthole!). We overheard one woman was late by 10 minutes and they canceled her appointment and told her she could be seen again in 2 months. The GPS provided route to this place is also wacky on the Maps application that comes with the iPhone. They will not send you to a specialist and in my case their suggestions would only make my condition worse. I've had a problem they can't fix for years instead they give more unless drugs rather then send me to a specialist. These people have been good to me in helping me with my health problems over the years. They charge me on a sliding scale since my job doesn't provide a health plan or the wages to go to just any doctor. Hands down the best clinic I have been to! This place saved me a few times. I went here years ago but forgot about it. How could I? I was treated by Dr Heart also another man I'm so sorry I forgot his name. Both are amazing and handsome. Lol they know their stuff they are "real" Doctors! I have a thyroid issue and these guys keep up on the information. They know what levels are right. I struggled for a few years after i lost this place. I went to a Quack of a doc who had me so messed up. I was 165 and nothing I could do would work. I got back here back on my meds and doing great at 126. Worse place ever to get an appointment here . Especially for an endocrinologist. I was trying to make an appointment to see a doctor and I spoke to Leah from Sac Health and told me they need a fax authorization before they can even set up an appointment for me. My doctors office and insurance had sent them fax paper work 5 times already and every time we called to ask if they received it and nothing. Finally my spouse got tired of hearing them say they didn't get nothing through fax for me and had the insurance do a 3 way phone call to confirm what was going on with there fax machine and ask Leah from Sac Health to look for the fax because they already sent it in 5 time already after my insurance and spouse waited in the phone to be told they magically found my paper work and then to tell me the next appointment is May 2018 . This is the absolute worst dentist I have ever experienced in my life!!! I wouldn't send my worst enemy here. I broke one of my molars and scheduled an appointment, they did an xray and and prescribed me some antibiotics and scheduled an appointment for a root canal almost a month later. A week later when the antibiotics ran out I was in more pain than I was to begin with, I couldn't eat, I couldn't sleep, I couldn't concentrate at work. I called them and they told me to come in the next Monday and they would get the root canal started. When I went in on Monday they said they werent able to do it then and to come back for my appointment in two and half more weeks, this time at least they prescribed some motrin. The night before my appointment at 17:30 they called me and said the doctor had called in sick and rescheduled me for another 2 weeks. I am in excruciating pain, the whole left side of my face hurts, I am much worse off than I was to begin with, and now I have to wait two more weeks to get this root canal, I honestly don't care about saving the tooth anymore I just want the pain to stop, I asked them just to pull it out but all they have to say is come back in two more weeks! I asked if I could see one of the other doctors there but they said that the doctors don't like to switch patients, it seriously seems like patient care is at the bottom of their priority list. Unfortunately due to the fact that my job doesn't offer dental insurance and I can't afford to go anywhere else, I'm kind of stuck with this place. Seriously, F@#$ this place! 1st time I was there was great, yes expect a long wait but it's worth it, the physician assigned to me took the time to sit down and asked questions, also ordered tests (mammography and a pulmonary test) that I have been begging my old doctors for ever and we have breast cancer in the family. I always had excellent insurance all my life but with todays circumstances and my permanent disability things do change and I am thankful for having Sac and Loma Linda to care for me. In case you don't know, the SAC Dental Clinic in San Bernardino (SAC Health System) is owned and operated by the Seventh Day Adventist Organization. It is part (extension) of the LLUMC. The senior dentist there is Dr. Brent Shakespeare. Next to the dental clinic is a Medical Clinic. The senior doctor at the medical clinic is Dr. Kenneth Hart. He is a caring doctor. I and my wife have been his patients for decades, on and off. He is an exemplary doctor, the best that I have seen. He deeply cares for his patients, unlike Dr. Shakespeare. The "SAC Health System (SACHS) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation which provides comprehensive and low-cost health care services to the Inland Empire". The dental clinic, however, treats the poor like crap. For example, they give me the run around treatment when I went there to have dentures made. First, I had to wait for months to get a doctor to extract my teeth, although Dr. Shakespeare is experienced and well capable of extracting my teeth. He has pulled my teeth before without problems. He said to the Manager of the dental office that he had to call the so called "oral surgeon" (dental interns) from LLUMC to extract my teeth. He was untruthful when he said that. Because I had my lower teeth removed at another dentist office by a very young general dentist, and not a oral surgeon, in less than an hour, much less. I suspect that he doesn't care for the DentiCal patients even though the "SAC Health System (SACHS) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation which provides comprehensive and low-cost health care services to the Inland Empire". If you want to have your teeth extracted, they charge about the same amount of fee as other dentists in Los Angeles and Beverly Hills would. How is that going to help the poor? Their denture job is sloppy, not because the dentist is inexperienced but because they lack the motivation to treat DentiCal patients in a professional manner. For example, when they made an impression to make my upper denture, they used a "tray" that was intended for the mouth size of a giant. They just picked up any size of tray from the drawer and fit in my mouth, instead of choosing from a selection of trays that is the right fit for my mouth and gums. The impression that they made for my denture is too big for my mouth and gums, and the denture will not stay in place regardless of how much dental adhesive I put on the denture. Instead of extracting my teeth himself, Dr. Shakespeares called the dentist interns from LLUMC to do his work for free and charges DentiCal for work that he did not perform. Dr. Shakespeare at Sac Norton dental clinic is a judgemental very uncaring and unprofessional Dentist, if that's what you want to call him. He doesn't deserve that title in my opinion. If your a medi-cal patient, he acts like your lucky he looked in your mouth at all. I recently had 2 hip replacements, even though I'm only 47 yrs old. He saw that I was still on pain meds, and also meds for anxiety and panic disorder. After that he said I needed a couple of teeth pulled and replace the temporary plate I've had for over 10 years which finally broke with a permanent partial. I was never told that the plate I had was temporary. I got done there about 10 years ago. He looked in my mouth for maybe 30 seconds noticed that my jaw clicked, and referred me to an oral surgeon for a "full mouth reconstruction". That's insane. All I needed was a damn partial. I asked him what if I go there and I can't afford it can I come back here? His response was and I quote " I'm sorry but doctor Shakespeare can't help you" referring to himself as dr. Shakespeare, instead of "I". What a creep! read more
