What do you do when you know your friend has prepared the most gorgeously divine and sinful chocolate cake with, like a million calories? And you know you're gonna eat the whole thing, baking paper and all?
I tell you what you do! In spirit of good friendmanship and 'I share mine if you share yours' - and because you wanna introduce a few healthy points to your planned eating frenzy - you decide to buy some sushi (actually, sushi has a gazillion calories, but why ruin make pretend?).
So, on my way from a I-really-deserve-some-love-since-I-had-to-work-2-hours-on-a-Sunday kind of days I popped by Sachi Sushi. I agree with the yelpers that the place is quite dull, and I also agree that the sushi is decent.
On the menu, you have your average maki, nigiri, hand rolls, miso, salad, beans, rice paper sushi and sticks. I am a maki lover so for a 2-prs order I went for some spicy veggie maki (for once, the veggie was gooood!), the maki lover combo and a rice paper crispy ebi - standard stuff, standard preparation, OK quality, not bad and not knocking you off your feet. The place is fast, prof, and the food fully qualifies for a Sunday evening take out. At least, us two (not that hungry) folks were happily filled and the whole thing only set us back around 270 DKK.
Tip: Seriously, don't plan to eat in - pay the extra bucks and go to Sticks, Damindra, or the likes. read more
