We stayed in the Bank St. SACO upon our arrival to London from the U.S. It was lovely and the people were amazing. This is long overdue - a year now! I don't know if Indira is still the apartment manager, but she was wonderful - really kind, generous, helpful at all times, she made everything SO much easier. We had such a rough time upon arrival - it took a while to find a place and we ended up having to extend our stay twice, and the first time we moved to a studio from a 1-bedroom.
There's no place to park in front/back - something entirely new to us as in the U.S. all hotels have big parking lots and front spaces to at least drop off your luggage - but our harried driver dropped our bags off on the curb and the lovely receptionists came out and quickly, methodically picked up everything (there was a LOT as we were moving countries!) and brought them all to our room.
The temperature settings were a bit iffy, there were some drain flies, and you have to get your own toilet tissue after the first couple rolls but it's basically a serviced flat. It was lovely and the concierge/receptionists would take our deliveries and takeaway straight to us. They were very nice and understanding and when we moved rooms, they carried all our luggage for us! They were very patient and overall just were an excellent customer service team, and made us feel very welcome and at home. read more
