The only reason I'm rating them this high is because my artist (Amanda) tried to help me after I expressed my dissatisfaction. She really is a great girl and I like her a lot, but I wasn't at all happy with the finished product. For starters, I didn't really get a good look at the tattoo in the shop, as I wasn't provided a mirror and only got a backwards glimpse of it in my cell phone camera. It wasn't until I got home and checked it out up-close and snapped some pictures that I noticed the imperfections. There are two letter a's in the phrase and they both look COMPLETELY different. Not even similar- they look like completely different fonts. Also, not all of the lines in my lettering were straight. The first half of the tattoo looks pretty good, but the end is shaky-looking. I included that I was extremely concerned with precision when I emailed the shop to find an artist, which is one of the reasons I'm so upset about the finished product. When I asked for a touch up the very next day (because I wasn't going to wait to express concerns about my first tattoo!) I was met with slight hostility. Not from Amanda, who tried to be understanding, but some other random artist who I'm pretty sure is named Jordan. I called ahead to voice my concerns and Amanda told me to come in and show her what was bothering me about it. After I got there and started pointing out the *very obvious differences in the letter a's, the Jordan guy walked up to us and started making snide comments like 'that's not even worth a touch up,' and 'It looks fine to me' (as if he's the one who has to look at it for the rest of his life). He had nothing to do with my tattoo so I'm not sure why he felt like his input was necessary. Amanda did listen to me and was, again, somewhat understanding, but basically tried to talk me down and said that I was over-analyzing it because it was my first tattoo and that nobody else would notice those "small imperfections". She did agree with me in regard to the a's looking different, but tried to chalk it up to how the tattoo was done laying down and it looked different because I was standing up, the way my boob curvature was, etc. Which is kind of a 'DUH'- but Im pretty sure that tattoo artists are supposed to account for those factors before they do the tattoo. Even though I wasn't feeling the best after this consultation (ESPECIALLY after being scolded by an outside artist) I still asked to get it touched up and Amanda approved because she wanted me to be happy with it. I made an appointment for 2.5 weeks later but cancelled because of personal reasons. Besides, it can't be fixed without thickening up the whole tattoo and the last letter 'a' is beyond repair. My tattoo is just ok, but I don't love it and never will. I can't even explain how disappointed I am to write this review, but I couldn't brush it off because this place completely ruined tattoos for me. My experience here was nothing but stressful and I'm so upset that my first (and now only) tattoo didn't even come close to my expectations. And for those out there who think I'm being too picky, you're damn right! This is a TATTOO- It's going to be on my body for the remainder of my life, and I'm going to have to look at it on a daily basis. I'll take my L when McDonalds gets my order wrong, but I've always believed that that a tattoo is the last thing you should skimp or settle on. Aside from the tattoo itself- no one deserves to be berated for wanting a touch up on something that will arguably be one of the most permanent things in your life. I didn't go back there acting crazy, rude or derogatory of Amanda's work- I only expressed my concerns and was met with indifference and inconsideration. I definitely won't be back or recommend this place to anybody who wants a precise tattoo.

Everyone was welcoming and we had a great time while I was getting tattooed. Communication was through email and they took everything I requested into consideration as well as working with my schedule to get me in for the tattoo. The tattoo itself turned out perfect! Exactly what I wanted. Bryan was very gentle and I wasn't stressed out at all during the whole visit. I definitely recommend and I will be returning for my next tattoo!

This time it was me in the chair! I went to get three additional piercing's including one I was pretty nervous about because I'd heard they hurt! But the staff was very patient and helpful. They were super respectful and knowledgeable about everything. I felt very comfortable with them. They gave a lot of detail about aftercare as well. One thing I really appreciated in particular was how Red warned me before he opened up the case that contained the peircing needles. That was super thoughtful, as I am sure a lot of people don't like looking at needles (even if they're willingly sitting there to get poked by one LOL). I also liked the breathing technique that helped things go by a little smoother for me (still hurt LOL but it wasn't so bad). Anyways overall fantastic experience and my piercings are healing nicely! Looking forward to returning for my follow up appointment and additional piercings in the near future.

I got a…read morenavel piercing done here about 5 months ago and long story short it painfully rejected from my skin because it wasn't pierced correctly. When I first started having problems seeing blood and puss coming from my piercing about a month in, I called the shop and was told that this is "normal" and "part of it healing". After a few more months of dealing with pain, redness, and irritation I contacted a professional piercing shop in Baton Rouge. I was told there that my navel was not in fact pierced, just the skin above it was, making it a surface piercing that began to slowly reject from my body. I was also told that I do not have the correct belly button shape for the type of jewelry that Jalil went ahead and used anyways. I'm now left with ugly scarring on my stomach thanks to this unprofessional place. The customer service is horrendous too, good luck getting anyone to reply to emails, DMs, etc.

The artist we had complained because she was "shaky", and blamed her for the mistakes he made on her tattoo, and was mean to her while getting tattooed. He tattooed over a mole that she had made clear she wanted it to be left out of the tattoo. If they cannot handle a moving target, maybe they should not be a tattoo artist. The selection of jewelry is very diverse and reasonably priced. My first helix piercing was done years ago and was an awful experience, so I was a little nervous - that was quickly over because she makes you feel very comfortable. The jewelry is placed in a sterilizer, a much different experience than my first one. The procedure was quick and pretty painless. Even the healing thus far has been very easy and I don't even notice it. Very well done! I'll be heading back in a few weeks for another one with her.

Had to goto Urgent Care for the swelling, redness and pain. Currently taking antibiotics. Doctor said if it doesn't start to heal soon I will need more aggressive I.V. antibiotics. Never again will I goto Body Images.

I had 2 tattoos done by one of the artists there within a…read moreweek. 1 got infected, I told myself that it was my fault because I used scented antibacterial soap on accident for 2 days after getting the tattoo. I had a cover up by the same artist and the candy hearts looks uneven, messed up, color is patchy AND ITS INFECTED! When he used a sharpie as a stencil I brought it up to him before he tattooed me that it looks wonky and asked if it will look nicer. He said it will so I trusted him. I did everything right with my aftercare procedure, the same way I've done it with my other 4 different tattoos done by 3 different artists.
