We got our puppy Panda 3 years ago, he is the sweetest dog I ever had, I never had such a lovely puppy before, my baby Panda truly care about us, he is my love, if you are sad or feeling down he comes to you and loves to lick your face He is healthy, well trained, he always pee outside even without potting training him before, his coat is perfect and fluffy and he really is a companion dog, he loves to be close to us. I could not ask for a better dog, he is definitely different from other dogs, he will always be my forever baby!!! I'm truly thankful for Sacred Hearts Kennel to give my baby. He is 5.7 pounds and loves to eat and play with his brother. He is wonderful with kids, adults and other dogs. He is perfect, we love him so much!!! read more

Update: After spending $100 dollars on a DNA test because Debbie refused to send me pictures of my puppies parents we've found out he is a pure bred Pomeranian. This could've all been avoided if she just communicated, and was transparent. However, I still suspect She's a puppy broker. Hence why she never sends pictures of the sire and dam or allows you to visit their environment. Now she's selling mini schnauzers. It seems her breeds change often and she sells many types. RED FLAG. Getting the papers for this dog was a hassle. We drove 3 hours from LA to pick him and she did not have papers ready, I should've turned back around and went home as that was unprofessional. You do not make someone drive that far without everything being ready and prepared. For weeks I went back and forth with Debbie about the papers. As we did not receive them within the timeframe she promised. She was in the midst of moving to Texas. I paid to have the papers so I expected them whether she were busy moving or not. This is not how I do business. Fast forward we received paperwork, not even sure what it is. But we have to pay for our papers through CKC. Not what we were expecting to pay the fee. Everything should've been included. This is what happens when he was never registered and she scrambled for 2 months to get the paperwork. Never had to do this with my other dog. I believe she never had them, had no intentions on sending them and pretty much did re-filing and made us pay for it. She also mentioned well you're not breeding him so why do you need papers! Well because you said he comes with them and that's why we paid the hefty price tag! Fraud! Initial meeting - We met in a parking lot to exchange dog/payment. We were also not allowed to view the kennel. Where she kept the dogs, didn't get to meet the parents. I thought this was standard when purchasing a dog from a breeder! This is why we do it, to make sure a puppy mill isn't being ran and the pups are in great living conditions. Her excuse was germs and strangers. Huge mistake. Please request to see the kennel. So many bad unethical breeders these days. Do your RESEARCH and demand to see where the puppies live. Having a dog is a huge commitment. God forbid, these dogs have health issues down the line. You are now attached and will pay a pretty penny. This is not our first time owning a Pom, he looks completely different from our older dog, even bigger than her she is 7 pounds, and many ppl have asked me is he mixed. I'm sure he is, but Debbie will keep claiming he is pure bred. I love him regardless but I'm going to do a DNA test just to be sure. I'm tired of breeders ripping people off. read more

I wanted to write a quick review for Debbie of Sacred Heart Kennels, as my wife and I just picked up our second black & tan Pomeranian from her this past weekend. Our first pom girl is going on 7 years old, and is the happiest and healthiest spoiled pup we've ever seen. She has excellent temperament, a beautiful coat, and a clean bill of health. She has been the center of our life for years now, and we can't thank Debbie enough! This past weekend, we just picked up a NEW black & tan male pom from her, and he is going to be the greatest little companion for our pom girl. He has tons of personality, very loving, and is extremely intuitive--he's picking up quickly on crate and paper "potty" pad training. Some of the other ratings on here seem INCREDIBLY subjective and ill-mannered, so please take them with a grain of salt and consider the following OBJECTIVE comments from someone who has now completed TWO puppy purchases with Debbie at Sacred Heart: 1) Sacred Heart openly declares on their website that these puppies are for companion purposes only, so do not expect extensive AKC-level reports on champion blood lines, etc...Rather, the owner provides a thorough bill of health on the puppies vaccinations as of current, and also provides a care package for them with a food bowl, puppy food, vitamins, and a few other assorted items that help with the first few months of raising and training the pup. 2) Sacred Heart openly declares that they DO NOT allow house visits to see the puppies, and this is easily understood as a privacy issue for the owner--RESPECT IT. Both times, we've picked up our puppies, we've met the owner in a public location and had ample time to meet the puppies we requested to see, and decide on whether we were ready to purchase him/her. Debbie is informative, forthright and very sweet-natured person--you can tell that she cares for all of her animals. 3) In response to Noella P.'s review regarding the parents of puppies -- The mom & dad names of available puppies on the Sacred Heart website are CLEARLY listed with each respective puppy listing. Additionally, there are two menu sections marked on the website (Our Pom Guys and Our Pom Girls) that show the breeding stock, so it is very easy to reference the mom & dad name and put it with a picture of each respective parent to get an idea of what the pup may look like once matured. Would it be nice to also see the parents in person to assess temperament? --sure. But, then you have to reconsider my point #1--this is the breeder's discretion. 4) Do your due diligence on ANY breed before purchasing a companion pet. My wife and I thoroughly researched Pomeranian temperament, known health issues, exercise and eating habits, breed pros/cons, etc...BEFORE purchasing our first Pom. It comes as NO surprise to us that (so far) our new little pom guy is interacting, learning/training, playing, and pooping in almost an identical manner to our first Pomeranian. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Debbie refused to show us where she keeps the puppies (warning flag 1), refused to show us recent pics of the puppy's parents (flag 2), and only accepted cash. We still ended up buying a Biewer Yorkie from her and our dog is only 5 years old and we need to put her down for really poor neurological genetic issues according to vets. She has very bad seizures and thousands of $$$$ from hospitalization. When we received puppy, we were told she was up to date on shots and only needed 1 more round. When we checked in with vet, she was FULL of worms (tapeworms everywhere). PLEASE help shut down this business. End the pain of suffering for other families and no more bad breeding, please! read more

I adore my little black pommie that I purchased from Sacred Heart Kennels 11 years ago. No health problems whatsoever, except for one luxating patella (& subsequent surgery), which was not unusual for my toy sized love-button. She came crate and paper trained, is sweet natured and awesomely quiet. I am still stopped by people nearly every time I take her out - they are transfixed by her cuteness and shocked by her gentle, wonderful nature. I have gotten 2 pomeranians from this breeder and both have been great dogs. Our first one lived a very healthy life and recently passed away at 14 years old. She was smart, friendly, beautiful and basically perfect. She was exceptionally large for a Pomeranian though weighing about 22lbs. Our other pomeranian is now 11 and she is also beautiful, friendly, sweet and very healthy. When we purchased the 2nd pom, we specifically asked Debbie to recommend a larger puppy to us, as we liked the size of our first one, so she is about 17lbs. I did pick up our first pom from Debbie's house, but did not meet Debbie. Her daughter assisted me in selecting the puppy from about 5 different puppies, but I don't think they were all from the same litter, which later on seemed odd to me. I did not meet the parents, see the kennels, etc. Knowing what I know now, I would have wanted to do all of those things, but I was only 22. So, I can really only comment on the demeanor and health of my dogs, as I know basically nothing of her breeding practice or the health/living conditions of the parent dogs. We have a new puppy now (different breeder and breed), and this other breeder scrutinized us as dog owners. She was very concerned about making sure we were appropriate dog owners. She also encouraged us to come by, meet all her dogs, see their living conditions, etc. The process and experience in getting this new dog was very different from my experience with Sacred Heart Kennels. BUT all in all, Sacred Heart Kennels provided me with two very lovely dogs that have lived a long, healthy life. read more

I just started my search for my new family member and I came across 3 beautiful female pups from sacred heart kennels. I was getting ready to spend 1500 on a pup this weekend and asked a few questions that I think any buyer would ask especially if they were to spend 1500 on a pup. My first question was to see pics of the mothers. I asked at least 3x until I finally got an answer of "I don't have time to take pics of the adults right now" Okaaaaay well excuse me but as a breeder that is something you may want to think about investing some time in. Most buyers would want to see what BOTH parents look like full grown. I also asked if I can choose between 3 of the females and was told I could only choose between 2. I would be driving well over 5 hours to come see the pups and I can only choose between two of them!??!?!!? Okaaaay again! I'm going to keep it moving. Just wanted to let everyone know that the little guy we got from Sacred Heart Kennels, this past Saturday is an awesome puppy. The owner, was very helpful and patient with us, answering all of our questions, before and after our purchase (and we had a lot as this is our first Pomeranian). He came to us with all of his shots and health records, and already started on potty training and crate training. He hasn't cried at all, even at night. If anyone is looking for a beautiful, healthy, well socialized Pomeranian puppy, we highly recomend this breeder. read more

I purchased a beautiful pom girl from Debbie in October 2013. I feel I need to share my experience to counter the two other reviews. Our experience with Debbie was wonderful. She explained everything over the phone (explained why she doesn't have people come to her home) and I was comfortable with her explanation. She also stated that she would meet us and we were under no obligation to purchase the puppy. Our puppy is an amazing, healthy, strong, intelligent, loving little girl & has brought great joy to our family. I have brought her to the vet 2 times for follow up shots, a full puppy exam, and general health check, all with a clean bill of health & everyone at the vets office has stated how remarkable my dog is. Same thing with her groomer. The groomer said she was amazed by how alert, intelligent & sweet our baby is. Every time I have her with me people stop to ask about her. She is truly an amazing little dog. Our experience has been great and I would purchase another dog from Debbie without hesitation. I have referred her to several people who have asked about my puppy. I am sorry for the woman who had such problems with her puppy, but Debbie provides a warranty on her puppies so she would have been able to return the puppy. I keep in touch with Debbie by emailing every so often & providing pictures so she can see how good the puppy is doing. I think you should contact Debbie directly to resolve your issues instead of posting harmful information that may have been resolved had you let her know what happened.
