I was pleasantly surprised that this was a one stop shop with sizes up to 4x! Woah. It's not cheap, but the quality of the clothing is good. Nice designs. Large variety/selection for both women and men. Take a look at their website and you can order online too. I had a field day trying on outfits... and while I expected my dad to be bored while waiting for me, he wasn't. He ended up with a shirt and vest! It is a true gem for the history buff. The kind of history buff that likes to live history, that is. Their selection of historic clothing (1880s Western) is unbelievable - men's and women's, from casual to dressy, from underwear (ladies', anyway!) to hats. Also some great modern boots and hats, and beautiful belts and jewelry. I had no excuse, unfortunately, to buy what I really wanted (gorgeous period hat, taffeta bustled skirt and matching jacket, petticoat, chemise, corset, boots, stockings), but we did leave with a one-of-a-kind hat for my husband, a shirt each for my husband and teenage son, and a really cool jewelry set for me - crystal encrusted spur rowel necklace and earrings. I promise, you'll find something you like and have to have. :-)

My friend and I were browsing near the register while a woman was checking out. We happened to notice they had a bin of undergarments for sale. We heard the older gentleman at the register ask the lady that was paying, very loudly, "I assume these underwear are for you?" Visibly uncomfortable, she quietly responded "...yes" while my friend said "you don't have to answer that!" This was our first visit to this store, so perhaps we were missing some context (I hope so), but this left a horrible first impression in our mouths and we will not be returning.

There were some household items (e.g. sets of glasses and a shabby chic dining table). Clothes were neatly displayed and in some cases sorted by brands. I saw quite a few from Hollister, Forever 21 and Express. The fitting room attendant and cashier were both very helpful and sweet. If you bring in items to sell, you have the choice of: 30% of what they will price your item in cash or 50% of their price in store credit. I walked out with an Express dress (new with tags) for $17 and some righteous 80s footwear for $9. I'll be back again when I have the time to browse and find the good stuff.

I don't like having to spend a lot to make what is recycled mine. Twice As Nice charges way too much for most of their clothing. Most of their stock is outdated and obviously used. I totally get the whole trade-in concept - it's obvious that to make this business model work, Twice As Nice prays on it's consumers' desperation for something new to them. If U go for the cash option, U are seriously losing out, as it's half as much as the stingy trade-in exchange rate. The buyers at Twice As Nice have a way of dissing U and Ur previously loved items, usually only selecting a few of what U thought was some really good stuff. Kids clothing really isn't worth anything to them, so don't expect to get any serious credit for those adorable name brand items U splurged on, but the baby grew too fast. T-As-N is kinda fun to pop in to, every now & again, to see what they got in, especially if U are a penny-pincher and have time to kill.

They were displayed on little shelves marked $14.95. I asked owner how much for ducks. She said $20 for ducks and shelves. I said I didn't want shelves, just 6 ducks. She said $30 for 6 ducks, that is more than original quote. Then she said that was not going to split it up for me. I had at least $100 of stuff I was going to buy but I left. I was waiting outside for my husband and could hear the owner making fun of me to another customer for wanting to "break up a set" It wasn't marked as a set!

Everything that doesn't sell at regular Buffalo Exchange stores gets sent here to be sold at steep discounts. I'm talking $1-8 per item, for solid brands such as Free People, Anthropologie, Madewell, J.Crew, LOFT and more. Most items are still in very good shape with no flaws but be sure to look over each piece of clothing before buying. I found a few shirts missing buttons but that's an easy fix. I did some shopping for myself, a friend, and my fiancé and walked away with 43 items for a grand total of $117. It feels like I'm stealing, it's such a good deal! The employees here were friendly and my fellow shoppers were respectful. Highly recommend stopping by here for some great clothes at very low prices.
