My daughter's bones in her face were smashed in (orbital bones, cheek bones, complete distortion), and Dr Weiss saved her appearance (and her life), in fixing it with perfection. It took years to rehabilitate her from the mental trauma, which still creeps up sometimes with PTSD, but I'm sure this doctor would be proud to know that he is considered our life saver. I wish I would have went to him a few years later to let him know how much he means to us. I may just do that, by writing a letter in the near future. Thanks to HIM, my daughter is alive and thriving, with her beautiful face restored. He is a genius and a near perfect plastic surgeon!!! I pray God blesses him with love and peace for the rest of his life.

I've been seeing him for Botox and fillers for over 5 years now, and I truly wouldn't go to anyone else. He's all about enhancing your natural beauty and preserving your uniqueness never trying to change you unless you WANT to, and even then, he does it in a way that still feels like you. His work is subtle, refined, and always natural-looking. I always leave feeling confident and refreshed, and I've referred so many friends to him because I trust him that much. From the moment you walk in, the whole experience is easy and welcoming. The entire team is so kind and professional. Dr. Weiss is incredibly gentle and sweet, and I always feel like I'm in the best hands. It's one of those feel-good places I genuinely look forward to visiting, and it's worth every single dollar. He's a gem..don't sleep on him!

Circa 2010, I started experiencing lumbar back pain. I reached out to Dr. Kevin Martinez, formerly…read morewith Parish Pain Specialists but now with Southern Brain and Spine (see my review) and was treated with a level of respect and empathy that truly surprised me. After a series of tests and scans I was diagnosed with degenerative disc disease and was given treatment options. The treatment of choice was the Epidural Steroid Injection (ESI), and Southern Brain and Spine uses Crescent City Surgical Center for their procedures. The surgical center is owned and operated by a group of local surgeons and Louisiana Children's Medical Center, and is conveniently located in Metairie. Kudos to having their own parking garage. The facility is immaculately clean, state of the art, and has 8 operating rooms and 2 procedure rooms. To say that they provide personalized care is an understatement. From the moment you exit the elevator on the 4th floor reception room, you are courteously greeted and made to feel special; and relaxed, as the staff knows that patients may be anxious and/or nervous. Once you are checked in, a nurse takes you upstairs as a group to the surgical floor, where you will only briefly wait in a waiting room that looks nothing like any hospital waiting room I've ever seen. It is warm and inviting and helps put you at ease. You are escorted in by your pre-op nurse and mine have always been top notch and reassuring. The pre-op nurse takes you to a private curtained room where you change into a standard surgical gown. This is where you review and sign all your consent forms and are hooked up to an I.V. While waiting for the O.R., my doctor and anesthesiologist stopped in to say hello and before you know it, you are being wheeled up to the O.R. Once in the O.R., your surgical team is moving like a well-oiled machine, but a very personable and reassuring team. Once situated on the table, the nurse anesthetist administers you the proper medication and it's lights out in just a few seconds. The next thing you know, you are waking up in recovery from what feels like the greatest sleep ever. Once coherent, the discharge nurse goes over your discharge instructions and gives you a folder with all the documents you signed. You also get a snack and a drink if needed, and they take out your I.V. and allow you to get dressed; with assistance if needed, as it's not recommended to get up unaided. They provide an excellent "to go" goodie bag with chicken noodle soup, chips & cookies and a bottle of water. Lastly, they ensure that you have a ride, since no driving is allowed, and they wheel you down to your awaiting ride. If you've never been here before, you'll get a get-well card in the mail from your team. This is personalized care at its best. Lastly, I'd like to give a shout out to all the people who have cared for me on my many visits here. Apologies for not remembering them all. Reception: Patricia Pre-Op nurses: Melissa (several times), Stacy, Jessi, Patti & Lauren O.R. nurses: Ernie Radiology techs: Barry, Blair & Lauren Nurse anesthetist: Becky (at least twice), Kathleen & Candace Post-Op/Discharge nurses: Janet, Anna, Erika, Donna & Victoria I could go on and on about the team here, as they are all truly top notch. And no matter who is on your team, you will be taken well care of. Special shout out to Nurse anesthetist Kim, as she manages the group here. She is a master of her craft and moves at the speed of business, all the while being extremely nice. Last and certainly not least is Dr. Kevin Martinez. He is the rock star of the O.R. He has cared for me for over 14 years now and has kept me from having to have an invasive surgery all this time. There is no one better in my opinion. And being part owner of the hospital, he has a vested interest in providing outstanding care, just like everyone else here. Can't recommend this place enough!

Located in Metairie, the facility stands alone with its own parking structure making navigation and convenience a breeze. Patients check in on one floor, and called as a group up to surgery. You are taken up with a nurse, and with others around you, it doesn't seem very scary. The waiting room is clean and spacious and feels like a hotel, not a hospital. More so, once admitted for pre-op intake, each bedding area has windows, allowing for sunrise to illuminate the space. The nurses don't let you wait long before acknowledging and reassuring you, which for a first timer, calmed my nerves tremendously. I only dealt with one dedicated nurse the entire time so I never had to repeat myself. After dressing for surgery, I was introduced to my anesthesiologist who's mature looks put me at ease knowing he had been doing this for a long time. Before I knew it, I was being wheeled back, already deeply relaxed by the IV cocktail. From what I can remember now, the OR was clean, bright and uncluttered with my surgeon at the helm. I maybe only breathed into the gas mask twice before I was out. Upon waking, I felt alert and without pain. My nurse returned to go over discharge instructions and gave me a goodie bag of snacks to get into while they gave me time to wake up. Next we verified I could get myself back from the bathroom on my own, was given my meds and discharged. If I could've chosen where to go for yesterdays procedure I would've gone back to Crescent City Surgical in a heartbeat. Thank you for taking care of me, though I hope I don't ever have to see y'all again anytime soon. :)

In 2023, I trusted him again for a revision. Unfortunately, the revision left me worse off. I can barely breathe, and I now have sinus pressure--something I never experienced before--and a recurring foul smell. In all honesty, my nose was cuter before, even with its flaws. The recovery process has been incredibly difficult, and I've spent $23,000 on the first two surgeries, with another $18,000 needed for a third. If I could go back, I'd have sought a different surgeon or avoided surgery entirely. This has only intensified the insecurities I initially had about my nose, turning what was meant to be a positive change into one of the worst decisions I've ever made.

I had emergency exploratory abdominal surgery (ruptured appendix) a few years ago which left me with a very large scar down my entire stomach. The ER doctors did not care how I was stitched back together, and the scarring was deep, jagged, recessed, and unsightly. Dr Khoobehi listened to my concerns, set realistic expectations, and performed the work perfectly (he even reconstructed a new bellybutton). My new scar has faded, and it looks great! I can wear bathing suits again and the scar is barely noticeable! I'd recommend Dr. Khoobehi and his nurses/staff to anyone considering this procedure.

I wanted the smallest size possible which is 120cc. Dr. Khoobehi insisted 220cc are the smallest implant. Obviously my breast size results were beyond a desired size. One breast was significantly lower than the other one. Plus the right one was "deformed". I understand they won't be perfectly symmetrical. However this was extreme in my option. At, at least two post-op appointments I was so upset with the results, I was hysterically crying. Dr. Khoobehi's response was, "well what does your husband think?". Dr. Khoobehi was very insensitive and dismissive. I had to have corrective surgery preformed by a different cosmetic surgeon. Her skills are phenomenal! If you would like to see pictures of my original results I will be happy to provide them!
