After contacting several other reputable firms in the area, I found that others offer a 30-minute consultation for free to discuss estate services and planning. Charging nearly $400 just to walk through the door is unnecessary and, in my opinion, reflects a firm more interested in their bottom line than in the community they serve. A brief (within a maximum of 15 minutes) initial conversation with Atty. Byler, thirteen (13) to/from correspondence with Robyn, secretary and less than one (1) hour meet/greet and sign with Atty. Johnson, hardly constitutes this amount of time. Per their invoice, that would equate to 2.5 hours each day, with noted discussion. We don't have that much in total assets. When the "Draft" documents were emailed to us, I had to send back corrections to include ANOTHER PERSON'S NAME throughout the documents and incorrect information regarding specifically requested will instructions that were noted in our exploratory paperwork. Needless to say, we would never use this Firm again. They are extremely expensive for the quality and serve we received! I could have completed an online will document and filed in the Court for a small fraction of what we were charged!
