I always received excellent treatment there, so when they moved to Palmers Green, I had no hesitation in staying with them. The new clinic is conveniently located right opposite the tube station, making it very easy to reach. It's a brand-new space with a welcoming atmosphere -- the waiting area has comfortable seating, a free coffee station, and beautiful design details and art pieces. It almost feels like you're on Harley Street, but you're actually in Palmers Green. This time, I visited them to have both of my lower wisdom teeth removed under sedation. I chose sedation because I was quite anxious about the procedure and preferred not to have any memory of it. Dr. Ketan, who is also my regular dentist and absolutely fantastic, handled the sedation with great care and reassurance. The extraction was performed by Dr. Shahrokh Ali, the clinic's oral surgeon, who was equally impressive -- calm, professional, and highly skilled. The procedure was quick, painless, and I felt completely at ease throughout. I also want to give a huge thank you to the admin team, especially Crystal and Jennifer, who have been incredibly helpful and supportive throughout the process. A special mention goes to Jennifer -- she has been absolutely amazing from start to finish. Proactive, patient, always one step ahead, and genuinely kind. Honestly, she's better than my own PA! She followed up, made sure everything was clear and smooth, and made me feel taken care of at every stage. This clinic continues to deliver a level of care and service that is truly hard to find. I wouldn't trust my dental health with anyone else.

The practice manager later confirmed that the hygienist, Dr. Gupta's response was their final reply.​ Observations Post-Appointment: Sensory Changes: I experienced increased sensitivity and a noticeable change in texture; the top side of the affected veneer became rough over time.​ Microcracks: Over time, microcracks became more visible, leading to plaque accumulation and potential decay.​ Evidence Linking Damage to Hygienist's Actions: Veneer Longevity: My veneers were intact for ten years without issues prior to this appointment.​ Professional Confirmation: An external dentist confirmed that brushing could not have caused this type of damage, noting that improper brushing or natural causes would have led to issues within the first few years.​ Damage Correlation: The damage is located adjacent to a non-veneer tooth exposed to ultrasonic cleaning, suggesting vibrations as a likely cause.​ Dr. Gupta's Response: Tea Consumption Blame: Dr. Gupta attributed the damage to my morning tea consumption, overlooking the fact that my veneers had remained perfect for ten years prior. She stated, "You have a history of stains on your teeth which has been attributed to the tea that you drink. I would anticipate that the staining you report now is as a result of the age of your veneers and your continuing habit of drinking tea."​ Acknowledgment of Damage: When presented with a professional photo of the damaged veneer, Dr. Gupta acknowledged the crack but did not offer an explanation for the rough texture, writing, "I am sorry to learn that one of your veneers has evidently developed a crack."​ Deflection to Previous Hygienist: She attempted to share the blame with a previous hygienist who had left the practice years ago, stating, "I was not the only hygienist who used the ultrasonic scaler in your mouth when you attended for your routine treatment at this practice over the years."​ Admission of Ultrasonic Scaler Use: Dr. Gupta acknowledged using the ultrasonic scaler on teeth adjacent to my veneer, stating, "I assured you that I would be careful around the veneers and use the ultrasonic scaler on a low setting only to gently clean under the gum margins of your front teeth." Notably, all six of my front teeth are veneers.​ Delayed Follow-Up Blame: While admitting to using the ultrasonic scaler, she faulted me for not returning to the practice sooner, stating, "It is unfortunate that you did not schedule another appointment at our practice so that one of my dental colleagues could have examined your mouth." The staff are friendly and helpful, the surgery I went into was immaculate, I am almost 50 years old, have moved around a bit and have probably sat in over twenty different dentists chairs, this place is without doubt the cleanest, most high tech of them all! Some of the instruments wouldn't look out of place in a sci fi movie, there is a great deal of investment here. The dentist I saw was extremely helpful and discussed the various options open to me, they also take their time, don't rush and make sure they do a thorough job. I had to re-arrange the follow up appointment and that was arranged by Violet with the minimum of fuss. This was probably the best, most comfortable and professional dental experience of my life. The staff got me in right away (the next morning) and were so warm and lovely. Their offices were professional, really clean and quite state of the art. I saw a beautiful female dentist (not relevant, but she is!) who I *believe* is Dr. Danya Mougharbel, but am not positive and a really friendly female hygienist, both very professional and welcoming. The dentist discovered my gums around the crown were very inflamed and that I needed some gum surgery before the crown could be readhered, which was fine. I felt nothing -- seriously, whatever magic numbing juju they use is miraculous because I felt literally nothing and my face didn't feel like it was sliding off my head, either. Really localized anesthesia -- well done! She reseated the crown and it felt immediately 100% better. No discomfort, no pain, and my bite finally felt normal, which it never had since I'd had the crown initially applied. I was thrilled. I was a little nervous about the cost, but considering they saw me immediately, did surgery and used industrial super mega space shuttle adhesive to keep my crown on (okay, not space shuttle glue), I was pleasantly surprised by a roughly £200 bill. I wish I'd gotten my crown here to begin with! They were so helpful in sending the photos and my file to my US dentist so I could dispute their work. Really immediate customer service by the office management. Thank you, Kings Cross Dental Clinic! I want to come back for a cleaning before I go home!
