They have the newest wheelchairs that can go up and down stairs, they have great gurneys too. The employees are so nice and knowledgeable. I spoke to the owner for a while. He had been in the medical field for a long time. He is very much invested in the wellbeing of his customers. His sons work with him also. They are paramedics. They even transport across states. They were on time and very professional. They treated my brother exceptionally well and my brother felt safe with their services. This company, under the original owners, Don and Ann, was a no-nonsense, professional operation. No sluggish or lackadaisical employees were tolerated. Those who couldn't be professional and compassionate were quickly weeded out in the training process. Mauran was there for the community-at-large just after the Northridge Earthquake - performing rescues and transport from and through some of the most difficult terrain and territory ever seen in greater Los Angeles. I can honestly say it was the best job I ever had, and it was painful to me when I had to leave. The birth of my daughter meant I needed to be home more often, and I do not regret the decision to go into work in education, to be a better dad. I will always remember Don, Ann, and their kids fondly for helping me to create some of the best memories of my working life. I'm not sure what's going on with the company now, but seeing some of the reviews saddens me. The original owners would be mortified if they thought their shining star was tarnished in any way.

I had called a week before to get a reservation to get a ride from the hospital after an outpatient procedure. The phone rang and rang and then finally says their VM is full but you can send a TEXT. I called back again and amazingly the gentleman who own the company answers the phone...but he states he needs to call back later because he doesn't have his schedule. He calls back this one time and I miss the call because I was at dinner and decide it is too late so I call back the next day several times with no response-I sent texts and called at different times a day. So finally I call from another number and he picks up. I tell him who I am and he says that due to his pricing he is basically overstretched, but he says he will call me back later with a time. Well, my procedure is done and I ended up using a company who actually has someone to pick you up and drop you off. 1. If you can't fit me in do not lie and say you're going to call back. 2. Don't avoid your customers. 3.
