It's the kind of wild esoterica shop that you don't see around much, selling everything from coyote skulls to cheeky postcards. I also want to mention that the proprietors told us to be sure to check out Mexicali Blues (a similar shop a block down) and the cashiers at Mexicali Blues told us to be sure to stop by Rock & Art. Bought 2 couches from Bobs and paid 200.00 to have them delivered because they wouldn't let us pick…read morethem up. They were supposed to be brought into the house for the $200 delivery. The people that arrived decided it would be too difficult to bring them in without even attempting it. . The language barrier made it difficult to communicate with them and they became very agitated quickly . I refuse to sign that they delivered them into the house because they didn't overall a horrible experience. To add to this one of the couches had a small tear that had been repaired and when I contacted Bobs to find out why, it took hours of speaking to people who basically gave us the run around. They are supposed to swap it out when they get another one I'll update this if it happens I will not be using Bobs Discount Furniture again.

It has something for everyone. Vintage clothes, handcrafted items, local Maine gifts, a candy store, very carefully and thoughtfully curated collection of seasonal surprises around every corner, and there is so much to explore! Be prepared to spend a couple hours in here, easily! Prices were decent, very affordable. Especially considering every item had so much thought and love put into it. Serious! This time it was a metal snow measurer with a pine tree on the top--darling and practical! The guys who work there are quick to wrap up things and are super nice and helpful. They showed me where to find a handicapped ramp for the entrance and did not make me feel weird about using it. Everything is so cute and well made--mostly of wood and just so practical--cutting boards, furniture, towel holders, riding toys, etc. I recommend this place to anyone.

Five of us went here and my mission: find a tea towel that can be used (and not just looked at) for my new vanity bathroom. The price tag was steep: $38... there was no way i was paying that kind of money. This is important. Why? Because of what happened next...the owner was kind enough to walk me through the walkway (tons of great items) to the downstairs (more?) where I was shown some other tea towels. Didn't find what I was looking for though. So what did i purchase? $1700 worth of John Robshaw bedding. Yes. I turned around and saw THE MOST beautiful bedding ever. I just said "that's it. That is my spare bedroom". I ordered every piece except for a small pillow. Service is amazing. They had some free cookies at the front and although someone was guarding over it, i took four of them. I was hungry! This is a fantastic shop, full of something for everyone. I'll be back next year and maybe then I'll buy a tea towel.
