3 weeks ago a semi threw a rock and cracked my windshield pretty good, they were the most expensive place in town but they could get it in the quickest so I went with them. Service was quick and they were very good communicating but my dash cam that I had just gotten installed a month before got broken in the process. They said they would absolutely cover any costs to fix and/or replace it, which was great! It's now 3 weeks after getting my windshield replaced and it's now cracked again but even worse. I tried calling Safelite to see if there was a warranty or anything they could do and after fighting with a robot for 10 minutes i finally got transferred to a help center and then transferred to the fortdodge location just for the phone to ring and ring and then say "no one is available, goodbye" a 30 minute ordeal just to get no where. The customer service in person is great but trying to reach anyone over the phone is a nightmare and I can't recommend the quality as the problem I spent $500 to fix, is back. *I would also like to add there's no option to leave a voicemail for them to call when available, I would have to go through the same process again to possibly get the same result. read more

The customer service was good He explained what he was going to be doing and check in with us prior to the appointment to assure that we were still coming. Then he gave us a courtesy call making sure that morning everything was still on scheduled. He was very pleasant and did an excellent job installing our new windshield. read more

Don't have safelite fix your windshield unless you want it cracked! Had 2 small rock chips on my 2012 rav4 and the tech ended up cracking my windshield before he even put the resin on the chip. I asked him what kind of training they get and he says( not enough) so I ask if they learn on people's cars and he says( they learn by trial and error on customers cars) so because he didn't know what he was doing I have to pay out of pocket to have a different company change my windshield (at a lower price than safelite told me even).. I tried to contact safelite about this and they tell me nothing they can do as there was a chance it would break. Well my sister just got a rock chip that was worse than mine fixed by that other company and her windshield is perfect now! So not to impressed with the customer service and I'm telling everyone I know not to give them money since no effort was made to try and make this situation rite. read more

This will probably be my last experience with this company Never had problems before but this time they took three appointments to get the windshield installed and then made a mess of the interior and left the dome light on so killed my battery to boot Yesterday I got an email they were coming today only to wait all morning to find out the part isn't even in!!!!
