Mom was able to participate in the final celebration as a result of all her hard work without worry and her children were able to celebrate and see her as a positive role model. The Caregiver arrived early and was present and helpful in keeping the children safely (and quietly) occupied during the long ceremony (since seeing their mom only lasted a couple of minutes!). Sabal House allowed her to live with dignity. The staff ensured a smooth transition and helped her find friends with similar interests. The hard work of the staff ensured her last days were enjoyable. When you visit you will want to take special note of their food service staff which is exceptional. I will be forever grateful to the men and women of Sabal House for how they treated our family. My preference is that you don't need the services of assisted living. However if you do, I recommend that you visit Sabal House so you can see first hand how they can improve the lifestyle of your loved ones.
