Not the Best! Lots of promises, not a lot of follow through. It doesn't seem like a lot of attention to detail. You make your own judgement.

Amedisys Compassionate Care of The Villages, FL, pitch a 5-star rating, however, they are less than…read moretransparent and less deserving. In our initial in-person meet interview, we told them our mother helped to open The Villages Hospice House and that if the time came, she would like to pass there. Compassionate Care rep smiled, but never mentioned they aren't affiliated nor that they don't have their own hospice house, nor that they aren't affiliated with any hospice house at all. Deceitful. When our mother suffered an early morning major stroke while an at-home patient of theirs and was non-responsive, they said she didn't qualify for hospice house given her vitals and that we should hire 24/7care. They helped to clean her and provided morphine that morning, however, they provided no swabs for us to administer morphine, no incontinence pads, or any supplies necessary for her condition. Astounded, I called the hospice house in The Villages late that night to see if they had a bed, at which time I was told Compassionate Care had no affiliation and our mother could not be a patient while under Compassionate Care. We fired Compassionate Care the following morning, at which point, they insisted they bring a hospital bed (we said, "no") and brought supplies at 4pm, 2 hours before her transfer to The Villages Hospice house - as if to make sure they could bill that day. They are a for-profit company and it was a blaring badge of utter disgust at a time we needed true compassion and care. [FYI, The Villages (Cornerstone) Hospice on Morse Blvd was extraordinary in their help to execute paperwork, transport, admit and care for our mother where she passed a few days later. They also offer in-house care. Had we known, we would've hired them to begin with.]

When my father got very ill (Dads cancer came out of remission), they were there to guide us through the storm. From the top (administration) to the local office and their entire staff. Everyone was caring, compassionate, professional, and very knowledgeable. A special thank you to Lisa Bayliss for guiding us, with her tremendous knowledge, professionalism, passion, and caring. Lisa went above and beyond helping us navigate Dads discharge from hospital to home and having home health in place once we got there (home). She was able to help us connect with the local Centerwell office in Summerfield FL 34491, and get everything set up for in home care. Thank you Lisa! The local office was great. Communication easy. Everything went smoothly. Our home health nurse Jet Taylor was more than we could have hoped for. He and my father connected immediately. My father looked forward to Jets visit. Jet came with many years of nursing experiences and a critical care and trauma background. His knowledge and past experiences helped us greatly. We all appreciated and trusted Jet and cannot thank him enough. He was respectful, professional, a good communicator, and always on time and arrived with a smile on his face. He even took the time to involve and talk to, all family members present. He not only cared for my father, we felt that he truly cared about each and every one of us. Thank you Jet! The Case Manager, Angela Timms was equally amazing. She made it possible and was able to honor our request for Jet RN. Even though Jet was not assigned to our area, (he was on call the weekend Dad was discharged from the hospital) she was able to arrange and set up for Dad to have continuity of care. She made it possible that Jet was assigned to be Dads nurse. Thank you Angela. OT was amazing also. Laura Thank you! You were kind, compassionate, and oh so knowledgeable. Helping Dad get moving again and gain more of his independence back. PT amazing. Jennifer thank you! Dad is getting stronger each day because of you. There are so many more amazing people that we need to thank, I'm sure. The names may have escaped me now. But I will be forever grateful for everything that every person who walked into Dads house did for us. We still have an unknown journey ahead of us. But with God navigating our ship in this storm and bringing the right people into our lives when we needed them. We will be okay. God is so good and again a tremendous THANK YOU to Centerwell Home Health for everything you have done for my family!

They have a vibrant program for MC and a slew of mature volunteers who keep the residents engaged. What I like: the food is delicious and it is bright and airy. The rooms have built in storage....so much I didn't have to even bring a dresser if I didn't want to. The bathroom has ample storage too. The deep cleaning occurs weekly and is done so well-even the corners are reached. The Executive Director is approachable and responsive. The staff are helpful and responsive too. I can access staff quickly and directly via phone. Cameras (no audio) are allowed and that has given me peace of mind to see my mom's routines and her interactions with the staff. I am pleased that TS wants so much transparency. The questions I have had are answered quickly and a win/win appears to be the goal. I have had experience with 3 different facilities and this is head and shoulders above the other 2. I highly recommend Trinity Springs. btw, a friend moved his wife in and he is/was very happy with the facility and the staff. When she passed, he invited her caregivers to her service. It is a nice place. The sales lady has been with TS since it opened about 6 years ago. No pressure and quick to answer or get answers to my questions.
