Ok so this is hands down the best place to get your safety training done, I went in yesterday to renew my BLS and Nina was my instructor. She is so fun, and informative that by the time I looked at the clock the three hours have gone by!! And look if your worried going in person because of the whole cover thing, I understand I was skeptical myself but man Nina runs a tight ship, everything I mean everything was spotless. It is so clean and you also clean everything you touch when you are done with it. In addition, they are also seating a lot less people so that your risk is minimized and have seating spaced out to where its 1 person by table and you have your own hand sanitizer. I can keep going about how wonderful this place and Nina the instructor are but this post would be way to long. so I'm gonna leave it at this, Don't second guess yourself go to STS CPR CONCORD to get your safety training done and if you can get Nina as your instructor she is a true gem! read more

This is by far the best ACLS class I have ever taken, and I have taken quite a few! Bukari was our instructor and he was incredibly competent and passionate about teaching. He was able to break down the difficult concepts into simple ways of remembering for when you do have an emergency. I will definitely be coming back for refreshers. read more

This is a great safety training seminar, the best and most informative CPR/First Aid/AED training that I've been to. And I've been through 3 total with other companys. The room is nice and air conditioned with some light refreshments available throughout the entire training. Karl was fantastic, educated, and had insight to what would commonly occur if an emergency were to happen since sometimes DVDs can be somewhat exaggerated. There are so many new things that I learned that had never been talked about in previous classes (by other company's) that were addressed and made clear on how to approach and help in different situations! Overall, learned a TON and had a good time! Will recommend to friends and family and will be back to renew when needed. read more

I'm an EMT working inter-facility transport in contra costa and a few other counties and I went to STS for my CPR recert because of the stellar reviews. They were right! Registration took all of 10 seconds on the very easily navigable site and there's no cancellation fee, they just ask that you notify them. Payment upon arrival, cash or check for $80 (pretty standard in my experience). Our instructor, Rasheed, was outgoing, and he gave concise and complete information (even in response to the silliest of questions). He is a master of engaging his class and I wasn't bored for a second even though we went a half an hour over! You won't fall asleep, we probably watched ~5 minutes of video over the entire 3.5 hour class and only really for 'entertainment' and examples of what not to do, according to Rasheed. There was lots of discussion of best practices and policy changes and hands on practice. Our instructor was very attentive, but easy going and always ready with a joke or Star Trek reference! All in all, a great course. I highly recommend STS and will be going back! read more

Argh the dreaded BLS class. Well no more! This place has eliminated the dreary friends! 1st: The instructor Tomás, was not only kind, personable and professional, but really knew his stuff. He delivered the nuts and bolts, the details in a way that made me really want to absorb every aspect and detail of BLS. He organized a large group of learners efficiently and got us through in awesome fashion. 2nd: Well organized room and sufficient equipment for everyone. Bathroom in the room! 3rd: They look out for your comfort by providing snacks and beverages. 4th: Ease of Internet registration with liberal rules such as no penalties if you cancel at the last minute. And no matter the size of the class, it will not be cancelled even if it's only 1 person. 5th: you get your BLS card that very day. I highly recommend this company. read more

By far, one of the best CPR/AED classes I've taken and I've taken a few since I'm a yoga instructor who has to always update my CPR credentials. I feel like I learned more from this class with Insructor Justin then any of my other past classes. He is a professional EMT with a great sense of humor which makes the class fun and exciting and holds your attention the whole 3 hours! It really didn't feel like that long because we were so engaged. We learned so many life saving tips and built are muscle memory of how to use CPR and an AED. I highly recommend this class to any who need recertification or any one who wants to learn how to save lives. Parents especially will find some valuable life saving tips for infants as well. It's easy to register for this class and the best $70 dollars to spend. They even offer tea, coffee and granola bars to keep you fueled. He took the time to go to each person 1 on 1 to make sure we were understanding snd doing the CPR correctly and would correct you. I had Conner today and wow, great instructor! Greeted me nicely from the start onto the end when grading my exam. He also followed social distancing and covid protocols amazingly which I appreciated so much. He's the best I had so far because I'm usually slow at learning and my instructors in the past increase my anxiety due to not handling correcting me properly (in my opinion) but Conner helped me stay calm while correcting me on my compressions. Plus, he was funny too. If you guys are able to choose your instructor, 100% recommend Conner. Definitely coming back here in 2 years to renew! read more
