Let's just say MS MARLENE IS AMAZING at what she does. At first 8-4:30 seems sooo long however when you have a phenomenal instructor it goes by sooo quick. The Adana training and safety was very informative I am now able to go back to my site and share extra information I was unaware of. When you are looking for the class make sure to renter the left side of the building that has an the open doors. Inside you will find many businesses look for the correct suite. read more

I am sick and tired of this company, all the want is to make money they are very rude they can care less about human!!!!! I usually take classes at San Ramon Location and is very far away out no where the break we get is 5 to 10 minutes only it is like going to army very strict ist should not be like this, Congress should do something and hold this company accountable. it full of rules !!! We arrived and instructor already start with her rules. You can't go to bathroom with out telling me!! you can eat in class! you can drink in class unless is water ! They removed the code maker from the room that it was the only free thing we got with most cheap coffee I think is from dollar store . I am speeding the words all over Facebook at Bay Area for nurses, teachers, childcare provider to stop taking class from this company they are very pricy and to leave and buy afresh coffee is 15 minutes away and the break is 10 minutes . read more

I scheduled them for two trainings. In the contract they gave stated parking is required for their trainers. I had two safe, paid parking options for him. 20 minutes before the training they called to confirm parking. Our site is in san francisco and I offered paid parking in a safe and secure garage across the street. Monitored 24/7. He refused and said parking has to be private on site parking. He cancelled 20 minutes before the training and I had 20 staff already here. If they do require a private lot why wait till 20 minutes before the training to confirm? Its unrealistic to expect businesses in major cities to have private parking. This has been a huge loss for my company and really disappointed. He was incredibly rude and felt like he just didnt want to come into the city. Which he mentioned a few times he rarely does anymore. Then why take the job??? read more

Wow!! What a phenomenal course. I got my CPR certification today and am so happy that I did it through Adams Safety Training! The instructor, Jenae, was incredibly intelligent, attentive, and thorough. She answered any and all questions with patients and detail. I really appreciated this course and the instruction given. First time at this location for my CPR/First AID renewal today, as all San Jose locations were filled (near home). Location is within the medical building, so it's a hit-and-miss on finding it. I suggest going early just to find it. Plenty of parking, so no need to worry. Had Izaak for the instructor. Very informative! I can tell he's very knowledgeable in what he's passionate about and that's educating people about safety, and infectious diseases. Highly recommend taking CPR/First AID trainings with Adams's Safety. This is my second time with this agency recommended by my company. They don't disappoint. Yes, it's a long 8-hour course for childcare, but they make it interactive with participants, so it's not (too) boring. We had a 30-minutes lunch, so I suggest bringing your own lunch. I brought my own lunch today, since I had a feeling it'd be a short lunch. There's apparently a plaza nextdoor that has fast food. (I'm not from the area.) Again, pretty good place to get certified. I'll continue to go through Adam's Safety for my renewals. (: read more

I'm not going to lie, all my life I've slept in classes before. However, Miss. Marlene kept me awake throughout the 8 hour class because she was above and beyond AMAZING! She genuinely cares and enjoys teaching and makes learning fun (That's a whole shebang right there). So if you're thinking about taking a CPR & First Aid class, take Miss. Marlene's class! Raymond A. Owner/Trainer & Instructor With over 24 years in the insurance and loss control industry, Ray Adams, our primary instructor, has a first hand understanding of the challenges facing comes to preventing and controlling accidents and injuries. Ray holds a BA and an MBA as well as Associates Degrees in Risk Management, Insurance Claims, Loss Control and Liability Claims Law. Ray is a member of The Society of Safety Engineers. he has worked as a Loss Control Manager for a Fortune 100 company and a Vice President of Workers Compensation Claims for one of the largest international insurance companies in the world. Ray has taught safety, insurance, risk management and loss control classes to professionals for over 20 years and has taught First Aid and CPR for public, private employers, and many nonprofit agencies. I always dread renewing my ACLS every 2 years, it's such a gruesome experience with megacodes, EKG…read morereadings, etc. I usually get my renewal through work but this year I decided to try something different. I wanted to try a renewal outside of work with the hopes that it is less stressful. I came across this place through my Yelp search based on the high ratings. When I went to the website, the option to renewal was online portion + skills assessment. I was worried about the skills assessment. I purchased it and scheduled my skills assessment. The online portion is something I have done in the past with my other renewals which really helps prep you with the algorithms and lots of feedback. The online portion is nice because you work at your own pace, on your own time. You must completed the online portion in order to do the skills assessment in person. Before my skills assessment, I received very helpful e-mails to help me pass my skills assessment. They had some videos and helpful tips in the e-mail. When I arrived to the location at San Ramon, I was a little confused as I easily missed the door and was very lost. I called the phone number and they were very helpful in guiding me on where to go. There is NO instructor there, it's just a manikin hooked up to the computer that assesses the skill. I thought the videos helped me pass the skills assessment. I did have to re-do some sections a couple times but the feedback from the computer helped me and I think the e-mail tips clicked after doing the skills assessment. Overall, the skills assessment was definitely less stressful than I expected. It wasn't that bad. I definitely plan to return to do my BLS + ACLS renewal here, it's very chill and at your own pace! I love it. This really eases my anxiety regarding renewal, I would highly recommend for anyone that wants to renew! Everything is at your own pace. You do only have an hour to do the skills assessment, which I felt was PLENTY of time! The skills assessment focuses mainly on the breaths/compressions of CPR and 2:1 teamwork.

I finally decided to take the plunge and do ACLS. Very similar to BLS, except the pediatric…read moreportion you don't have to do. I went to the Castro Valley location, the same location I have used since last year. I love that this location has its own little parking lot in the back and you just follow the instructions which are emailed to you in order to access the office where you will do your skills testing. Not that this is a dealbreaker, but just be aware there is no restroom at this location. Last year I recall there used to be, but they have now locked the adjoining door so you cannot access the restroom if you need to go. The other thing was it doesn't seem that the cart the mannequin is on is able to be moved; or maybe I just couldn't move it? I went in the morning hours and the sun was shining right in my eyes. Just be forewarned if you decide to go to the Castro Valley location - - use the bathroom first and you may want to bring some sunglasses just in case LOL

Most importantly, the kids really look forward to going! Here are the things we love most about Diablo hills country school: - flexible hours and reasonable pricing - incredible outdoor play area for the kids - kind teachers and communicative administration - so many fun and enriching activities - we also really like that it's family owned with a long history in the area.. that's hard to find these days.

Our daughter started at DHCS when she was two and she's now almost five. When we were looking for a…read morepreschool, we wanted a safe place where she could flourish creatively while also building the academic foundation she would need for kindergarten. We visited many other schools, but none of them made us feel like our child's happiness and safety were truly the priority. Many were Montessori programs with rigid classroom settings and rules that we felt were unnecessary for kids at this age. The family-run team at DHCS has always made us feel like partners in raising our daughter. Communication has been great and it's clear they really know each child individually. They've been flexible with schedule changes and even welcomed us back without requiring re-enrollment when we briefly tried a school closer to home after our second child was born. We continue to do the 30-minute drive each way because of how much benefit we've seen this school provide to our daughter. Over the years we've seen our daughter become more confident, social, and excited about learning, which has been wonderful to watch. They teach the kids about different holidays and cultures and always find a reason to celebrate. We also really appreciate how diverse the student body and teachers are, which helps create a welcoming environment where kids are exposed to many different backgrounds. They're not the cheapest school and not the most expensive, but for us it has absolutely been worth it. Every concern or piece of feedback we've provided has always been taken with great care and met with a professional, non-defensive attitude. A huge added bonus is the location -- the police station is right next door, which gives us extra peace of mind as parents. They also have a giant playground with all kinds of outdoor activities for the kids, and they strongly encourage outside play. The only downside is that they don't have a third location in Castro Valley or Hayward. One can dream... hint hint, Miss Angie and Miss Coco :)
