Go figure. - loser teenage girls walking around scoffing because "they can't steal something when it's behind the glass." - 9 times out of 10 no one is working the counter in the sporting goods section PROS + lowest prices in town + we love the Asian guy who was working the pharmacy side exit on Father's Day 2023... where is he? The employee comes to me after I had started scanning my groceries and said it's 15 items like the sign says. I said sorry I didn't see the sign and said since I've started can I finish she rolled her eyes and shrugged her shoulders then when I got to 15 items it stopped letting me scan until she came over to scan her badge. She could have handled that so differently! If she would have said to me when I was starting"I'm sorry but it will only let you scan 15 items" I would have said ok and went to another checkout. I just counted my items and checked out 2 more times and finished my scanning. There is a really nice grocery store up the street that I will spend my next 300.00 for groceries!

The space was a bit empty when I visited but could have been swapping over from winter merchandise. You can find your normal over the counter items as well as everyday essentials you need. Toothbrush. Toothpaste. Aspirin etc. The spot also sells local art and house decor too so it's an odd mix but a welcome vibe. Love the building and entryway so I'm most curious about the history of the building. Full time residents exist but this store reminds me of a hotel chain store by reception. Just the essentials and some fun souvenirs. Maybe this still exists for visitors to the springs? At any rate I was glad to walk by it and stop in for a selection of postcards from Pagosa Springs.

This pharmacy staff is very rude and authoritarian in their attitude. My care provider sends a…read moreroutine prescription there every month, and depending on who is working at the pharmacy is what determines the service. There have been several occasions where I went in to pick up my prescription and it went off without a hitch, but there have also been several where they said I hadn't called to ask them to fill it (What?! I've never heard of this in my life) , even thought there was a fill date provided in advance by the doctor's office. They act as though their job is to police the orders prescribed by care providers, and have a superior attitude. It's like they try to make your life harder rather than fulfilling their service to the customer. They are a roadblock to care. The customer is definitely not top priority, their smug authoritarian attitudes are. The last two times I've had to wait almost an hour due to my prescription not being filled. I don't know if they're overworked or what, but I'm so tired of their attitude that today I told my care provider to switch pharmacies. I will now use the Jackish (Selah) Pharmacy in downtown Pagosa Springs, even though it is not as convenient for me. The staff there is nice and act normal, not punitive. City Market probably won't care - this just means less work for them. I've lived here for four years and put up with this too long.
