Don't waste your time and money here. What Igor says and does are two different things. He has…read moredifferent prices for people, it all depends if you're in his good books or not. He can say what he wants but my bank statements don't lie. Two years ago he promised a lot of families to bring in wrestling and a bigger and improved gym with more washrooms ...needless to say this never happened. We left Mamute about a month ago as Igor was unable to accommodate my son by not providing more than 2 classes a week (he knew we were looking at other gyms, and he was ok with it, and I have texts to prove this). Therefore, we decided to move to another gym in Pickering that provided not only 6 days a week of training but more options, including wrestling, Judo, Kick boxing and Muay Thai, all without breaking my bank. And this gym has more than 1 washroom WITH a shower! And IT'S CLEAN, being cleaned by a professional cleaner! When we left, Igor asked to see my kids and my husband said no. However, what angered me the most, as I'm sure all parents would feel the same, was when Igor went behind our backs (mine and my husband's) and contacted my then 12 year old son in the middle of the night on Instagram! I refuse to give him the title of 'Professor' as with that title comes with responsibilities (not just a black belt with a red tip...that merely holds your pants up) that he obviously does not have, like not to contact a child in the middle of the night especially without the parent's consent! UNPROFESSIONAL and INAPPROPRIATE is an understatement! You have been warned! I wish someone was around to warn me. Don't let what happed to my son happen to your child! Do yourself a favour and look elsewhere!

I had lined up 7 trainers to meet with during the week. My first appointment was with Stef from PPT. She was literally everything I was looking for and needed. Something in my gut told me to go with her and not even bother with the rest and that's exactly what I did. I have absolutely no regrets. I trained with Stef from the beginning of June until the end of September. In that time I managed to lose just over 30lbs. She was with me every step of the way. Our sessions were challenging but fun. When it came to the food she never missed a beat. Always ready to help, even when I went to restaurants and didn't know what to order off the menu. She went above and beyond to help push me every single day. Even on those days when I was just ready to give up. She never cancelled on me and made sure I never cancelled on her (even though there were times I really wanted to lol) if it wasn't for financial reasons I would still train with Stef up until this day. She gave me the skills and information I needed to know so that I can make better food choices. Before I met her all I ate was pasta. Now I know how to plan a healthy meal and still feel satisfied without the pasta. She helped me gain the confidence I needed to go to the gym on my own and feel comfortable using the different equipment. She has changed my life and still continues to be my number one supporter in my weight loss goals now that I'm doing it on my own. The lack of proper communication, disorganized processes, and repeated errors in handling basic administrative matters have not only caused significant inconvenience but also resulted in undue stress and what I would consider harassment. Despite multiple attempts to resolve issues through the proper channels, I have encountered persistent delays, unreturned calls/emails, contradictory information from staff members, and a general lack of accountability. This level of service is unacceptable from a national gym brand and has severely impacted my confidence in your organization's ability to manage member relations effectively. It is disheartening that instead of focusing on my fitness goals, I am forced to deal with recurring administrative headaches due to no fault of my own. I urge your management team to take this matter seriously and implement corrective actions to prevent similar experiences for other members. I request that my concerns be addressed promptly, and I expect a formal response outlining the steps LA Fitness will take to improve its administrative practices and ensure respectful treatment of its members. You have charged me membership fee twice by tapping my dad's debit card twice, saying the system/computer was slow When I showed you screenshot taht my dad TD bank statement clearly showing $ 224.85 was withdrawn twicw-June 5 and June 6, 2025--you just brushed it off as "nothing is showing on our end--contact head office You also took anuual fee of $ 77.97 Then you took monthly fee of $ 56.49 - 2 times , $ 56.49 , July 7 and Aug 6 When my dad disputed the doubly charging membership fee to TD , and his second amount $224.85 was returned, you messed up my membership in your computer Now I vannot go to the facility as TD has stopped the pre authorised payment to LA Fitness, my dad no longer has faith in LA Fitness and you are not allowing me in your facility I have spent $ 415.80 in just 2 months , all down the drain
