I began my dental journey with DBD during the spring /Summer which was going to be quite extensive…read moreand costly. I had not missed a single appointment and prepaid as they requested. The last appointment I had the rude lady at the scheduling desk wanted to schedule my next appointment for the Fall. Due to my profession, during the school year it's hard to schedule ahead without actually having my schedule and guessing I would be free was not a good idea. However, she insisted and so I did. When we got to my appointment week I had to cancel because I would not be available. The dentist/hygientisf knew I had a loose tooth and it was a part of my plan to fix. Well, it was literally falling out and I tried to schedule an appointment/emergency. Not only did she tell me they were booked post beginning of the year but the ONLY date she could see me was literally a day or two away for the rest of the year.. Well, I can't cancel class so I had to decline but asked her almost by week if anything was open or waitlist. She had a nasty attitude and said NOTHING. Nada. Well, I told her I was going to try and find someone else to get me in sooner than Feb 24' and to please email my X-rays etc. Honestly, if your dentist doesn't consider your tooth coming out an emergency and not willing to work with you, why keep them. So, I finally found a surgeon that could get me in but needed a referral from my dentist. Because I told them that I was going to find a new dentist so I COULD BE SEEN SOONER THAN FEB FOR A TOOTH FALLING OUT IN THE FRONT OF MY MOUTH, they took it personal. I asked them if they would send a referral and she said NO! You told us you were getting a new dentist and we refunded your money for the visit you canceled on so we can't help you. WOW! Way to leave a patient hanging all bc I needed to get my tooth implant asap not Feb. what was I suppose to do, look like a fool for Christmas bc your booked and didn't want to work with me to get me in if even on the weekend. Most people consider a missing tooth an emergency. I was in pain and needed help! This place will take your money and treat you like junk if you don't follow their rules. I told her I was leaving a review and she didn't give a care. Lol!

ZERO stars. One of our family members previously made an appt here last year. We were new to the…read morearea. This year we tried to schedule again. The receptionist, Sharon, wasn't willing to go the extra-mile and send over paperwork until requested to do so. She also asked, based off of hearing our insurance, if we work for Dillon's. Umm, don't assume things about people. Then, she wanted us to "search for forms" to fill on their website. Umm, no. We're calling in to make an appt at your office, bringing you business. Obviously, this is not a free service, we/our insurance is paying. So could you just do your job as you're paid for? It's not that hard. It's understandable that anyone can have a bad day and honestly, we're all busy. However, after getting her to send us the paperwork, when we responded that we no longer could keep the appt, she called us back the following week, asking if we'd like to reschedule. When we said there were things we cannot move to make an appt at this time, Sharon hung up on us. Shame on you. Save your time & money, there are other dentists' offices who are truly professional -- definitely give this one a skip!

I hate going to dentist and being lectured about not brushing/flossing enough. Not saying they didn't suggest that, but from the beginning I felt like they were there to help support my needs. The thing that stands out to me from every dentist is their organization. The first dentist office that I've been to that they use radios to communicate, but it is very efficient. They have a picture of you on file so when you walk in for your appointment they basically call you by name. Most doctor/dentist send a reminder a couple days before the appointment, which they do too. But they also send you another reminder an hour before the appointment, which for someone like me is very helpful.

My children have gone to Dr. Emilie at Tooth Story in Manhattan, Kansas for 6 years. We have always…read morehad a good experience. No issues, the staff was kind. Recently my son and daughter went in for a routine cleaning. First at the cleaning our images were viewed at a computer in the lobby where other patients' families were. We were told they both had cavities and would need to have follow up appointments. 3 weeks later my son went in for his cavity. He was given nitrous oxide without consent. They fixed his tooth with a crown. The evening of his fix and the next 3 days he complained of pain in a different tooth. His tooth also chipped Sunday evening. The office is of course closed Friday-Sunday. First thing Monday morning I called the office and asked for my son to be seen. They do not see patients on Mondays, I did request him to be seen the next day or as soon as possible. They did get me in the next day and my son had his tooth pulled, a spacer put in and again given nitrous oxide without my consent. After the procedure was done I was asked to checkout and pay and told Dr. Emilie would talk with me. I was brought back to a room where Dr. Emilie and one of her staff were. She asked me about my phone call with her staff and I explained what had been said, I honestly do not feel I was rude on the phone at all. She then goes on to tell me that my son's pain. My son's discomfort was not her fault but mine. She told me I was a NEGLIGENT mother and my husband, and I were negligent parents for not bringing our son into her office in a timely manner. She told me I caused my kid pain and for his tooth to chip. She looked me straight in the eyes and told me I was a negligent mother. She is cruel, heartless and completely unprofessional. I would absolutely never recommend my worst enemy to leave an office feeling like I did. My greatest joy in life and greatest priority is being a mother and I left there feeling in every way like a failure.

The staff really did interact how I imagined that they should, and they met my standards and exceeded them! They held a conversation and asked questions that made you think or they told funny jokes. They do a very well job at interacting with children! The building was clean and even though it was a house turned into a business l, they did a fantastic job at turning it into an office and the layout was fun. They treated me well in general and was ok that I am a little bit slower and doing what they asked me. They asked for my preferences and helped a lot.

Doctor told me the tooth was cracked and need root canal and crowning. It was one of the most painful experience I had in my life! procedure was rough, price was high, and I couldn't use that tooth for almost 2 years afterwards due to extreme sensitivity. I had to go to other dentist to have it fixed again and again. I had other root canal done at other places, non of them were nearly that bad. I wouldn't recommend this office to anyone.

I was fine with the sudden quadrupling of the price but the worst part is that after I had to have my tooth crowned it turns out that they didn't even seal it correctly. Of course how was I to know this happened. It took two months for me to notice that the initial pain wasn't subsiding. I soon noticed that my tooth was turning gray.... To further my story, I called Sager Dental and told them the issue. Well, after I was told i would likely need a root canal I hung up the phone. No wonder Mr. Sager constantly talks of his success. He recommends work that is unnecessary and then does the smallest thing to make it seem like it was the clients fault whenever they must come back for a more expensive operation. Talk about a business model. I, However, decided to break the chain. I proceeded to another dentist to figure out what was going on. I lost the tooth. Thank you... Thank you David Sager. Do not go here. The same will happen to you.
