Great Belgian waffle, bacon and coffee breakfast today! Their blueberry pancakes are awesome too, but a toss-up with their candied pecan waffles and pancakes. I often pick up a nice warm cheese burger at the front counter for a really good and quick meal. read more

first time stopping to eat. very friendly. love the rocking chairs on porch. had to wait for table. service was OK. table smelled like pancake syrup leftover from breakfast. Still wet and sticky. The Rueben sandwich very good. The hamburger steak left a lot to be desired. it appeared to have been grilled. ordered it med well. It was raw. asked waitress if it was frozen, she stated all hamburger steak made fresh, only the hamburgers are frozen. waitress offered to bring another one. never did apologize. Can't figure out after waiting a while for food for it to not be cooked. would have liked to talk with cook or for the cook to be aware of problem, waitress did give half off of steak. we were given paper napkins with utensils, not cloth, and had to ask for more. Had heard a lot about how good the food was. Not sure if going back. read more

What a solid lil country cooking restaurant in Franklin County... Stopped by Sago's while in town, visiting my wife's family... Everyone was super friendly and accommodating. The food came out really fast (for a party of 8) and it was good old country cooking. The restaurant is kind of a higher end Clarence's (in Ridgeway)... Sago's is a nicer restaurant with better food, but Clarence's gives larger portions and is better priced. Nonetheless, Sago's was good and we'll stop back again when in town. read more

It is a lovely little restaurant in the middle of no where. My husband and I usually visit on Saturday evenings and I have the Prime Rib special. I had a friend from Texas that ordered the catfish and she said it was wonderful. I noticed a lot of pizzas leaving. It has an open kitchen and about 5 tables and 4 booths so it isn't very large. It is attached to a little country store and gas station that is very much appreciated. read more

Sago's is our family's new hometown favorite ! We are working our way through the menu. The pizza is yummy . The country fried steak is moist and the gravy is just like grandma used to make . Our favorite meal to eat is breakfast ! You can't go wrong with anything on the menu! read more

Delightful surprise in the country side. This restaurant is a hidden gem with local raised meats and high end food selections. Everything was made fresh in the restaurant. Atmosphere was clean and comfortable for fine dining. Cloth napkins, leather chairs, and top notch service make this tiny restaurant a destination eating event. You may have to wait for a table but it is worth the time and the drive. read more
