I've been to Denmark, and Fyn in particular, many times and not once passed the opportunity to hit this place and indulge my sweet tooth during the summer. It's a shame they're not open in the winter, but I suppose all good things have to be taken in moderation. If they were open, however, I'd have no problem eating this stuff even in the brutal cold down by the nearby harbor. They are simply the best out there and there's a reason they have the following that they do. Always on my list for summer visits and definitely should be on your too. Parting thoughts, and a tip for the uninitiated, absolutely get the guf and the jam to go on top of your ice cream, you'll thank me later.

Many varieties - so delicious and plentiful. The farm is lovely and the staff helpful. Grab a map showing where the specific varieties are planted (the staff can assist with what kind of apples you are seeking - be it tart, crisp, red, green or just best for pie!) and head out with one of the free carts. it is so easy to pick many kilos to take home! There are ladders scattered around the fields, but we found the fruit to be so plentiful right at our height, even for the kids. If you find the hidden golden apple you can win 50kilos of free fruit. Apples not your thing? They also offer pears and other fruits for self pick in different seasons. Apples are 8DKK/kilo for self-pick, 10DKK/kilo if you prefer your apples ready for the taking. Butik also sells preserves, pressed juices and vegetables.
