This shop was a nice little find while exploring part of Greenville. Just the day before blew through Georgia and was only able to shop at a couple of markets for a few minutes. Walking in had no intentions of getting a cart well that changed after checking out some of the shelves. Shrimp chips, coconut snacks, rice noodles, rice soups, red kamaboko and reusable face masks were just a few items purchased Definitely will shop here again. See photo. read more

i needed some carrots to make some beef stew so i went to saigon market bc they sell individual produce. i didn't realize there was a $10 minimum for card transactions & my total was $.77 for the two carrots. she handed them to me & said that i could pay next time. i went to my car & tried to find the change & had like $.46 in cash on me lol so they gave them to me for $.46 five stars will be going to them for all my produce from now on. read more

This is THE BEST Asian market!! The name makes you think it would be just Vietnamese food but it has everything! Korean, Japanese, even a little isle of West African food like fufu. They have fresh produce, I was able to get potato greens here. They also have frozen fish. Lots of varieties of snacks And they will order anything you need or want if you're a regular!! I wish they carried more curry mixes, they only have golden curry which is my least favorite. But other than that I have zero complaints! You have to check them out. read more

Coming from California, I'd give this place 5 stars because of its variety and the difficulty in finding Asian goods anywhere in South Carolina! I have intentions of moving to the area and it's nice to have a store that helps remind me of home as an Asian-American. :) The employees here are very welcoming and nice, and the store is clean (that's kind of hard to find in Asian stores in California, sadly). OK...coming from a larger city with a substantial Asian community, perhaps I'm spoiled when it comes to Asian grocery stores. Where I previously lived, there were Asian markets bigger than your average Publix in Greenville. Sigh...in Greenville, this is no longer the case. Although not Asian AT ALL (mostly Polish, if you must know), if asked to cook, I will more than likely cook Chinese/Vietnamese/Thai food. I have spent quite a bit of time in Asia...and it's just what I like. My husband is a huge fan of Indian, Korean and Japanese food. Saigon Market, although a Vietnamese name, does a decent job of carrying all of the basic components of a decent Asian meal...whatever style tickles your fancy. I'd LOVE for there to be an Asian market in Greenville that carries a large variety of fresh Asian veggies and meats, but I guess I'll keep waiting. In the meantime, if anyone knows of a market in Greenville where you can get fresh Kaffir Lime leaves, I'd love to hear from you! read more

This is typically my go to place for Vietnamese items in Greenville. My only gripe is that they don't have the Vietnamese spicy beef jerky but I can always grab that on trips to northern Virginia. One surprising upside is that they carry the canned tea and juice drinks that I had in Hawaii. Employees and owner are friendly. read more

I am doing the happy dance! I was worried I would be unable to find a reliable Asian market in Greenville, so I started hoarding groceries on my trips to Atlanta. Well, that's no longer needed. This has all of your essential Vietnamese vegetables, herbs, frozen meats and packaged goods. Just thrilled that there is a Vietnamese grocery store here in Greenville! I dropped by this afternoon and picked up kho qua, rau ma, rau muong and other various Vietnamese snacks and candies. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for basic Asian ingredients. When I was doing a price scan of their items, though more expensive than say an Asian market in an area where the Asian population is dense, it's affordable. read more

This is one of the Asian Grocery Stores in the area. They don' have everything that we need. So we end up going to another place. They do have a good selection of ingredients. They do have premade food, like sandwiches, stir fried noodles and fried rice. The location is a bit out of the way, but it's a nice store. read more

Coming from NYC, this place is the perfect place to shop for your Asian ingredients. They have a nice selection of fresh vegetables that arrive on Wednesday evenings and roast pork and duck on Thursday evenings. The owners are very helpful and always smiling. This is probably the cleanest and most extensive Asian grocery in Greenville. Despite the Vietnamese name, they also have a good selection of Filipino, Thai, and Chinese ingredients. My favorite item in their stock is fresh baked goods from Hong Kong Bakery in Atlanta - try the milk cream bun. (They also happen to have the cleanest bathroom I've seen in an Asian grocery.) read more
