Friendly service. Good Salad rolls, spring rolls and pad thai noodles. I was however very disappointed with the beef pho. Bland and plain, no hoisin sauce, no basil and bean sprouts, no lime. Great place for lunch, usually busy but the wait isn't long. The most popular orders seem to be of course pho or pad thai, which are delicious. The beef pho is my usual go-to order, can't go wrong. This is our primary stop for lunch when heading up to Fort St John considering there are no Vietnamese restaurants where we currently live. The pad thai is mediocre compared to what you find in bigger cities where you're used to. The taste is quite bland and you are given few pieces of chicken/beef; thank goodness for their chili sauce (they serve 2 kinds). Went in for lunch to get Pad Thai was expecting it to be the sweet ketchup crap and was pleasantly surprised. Made to order without egg and the meal was excellent. Shrimp was well cooked and the side sauces were perfect. Wish I had some lime wedges but that is a minor complaint. The place was packed and the service was friendly and calm despite the rush. I really wasn't expecting much and I ate every last noodle and green onion ring in my container. Perfect big, but not stupid big, portion. read more
