Our chef was super nice, and hilarious at times. He was helpful and funny. We were helped when we dropped the show! It was messy but fun - and it was a great time to spend together.

Starting at $52 for a beef salad, miso soup, king prawns, teriyaki chicken, beef wagyu and fried rice it is a bit on the exxy side, but the entertainment book has vouchers which will save you and a friend or lover up to $40. Plus, it is also an extension of the Stamford Hotel... all a little bit per tur per tur. 'You wanta fire?' 'You wanta catcha egg?' 'You want to flipa rice?' Where else do you get to wear a wax coated bib and have food being thrown all over yourself and the floor? For a Wed night it was pretty packed and you have to ready to sit next to strangers and have a bit of fun. Laughing a plenty and taste buds a yummy, it was quite a pleasant surprise I got to what I expected. It is a great place for virgin-teppanyaki-goers to start off and experience. Food is tasty, the atmosphere is fun, the chefs talented. Loved it.

Very Good. I'll start by saying I am no expert on Japanese…read morefood - went here for dinner having heard good things and been for enjoyable lunches. Easy to find and there is on street parking. Went through the COVID check in formality - social distancing applies. The restaurant was surprisingly busy for a mid week night, all tables full and folk waiting - so recommend booking. Menu has vegan and gluten free options. There are set meals - we had the banquet the entrees and all you can eat option - which we thought was reasonably priced. Drinks include saki and Japanese soft drinks - tried the plum wine - it's sneaks up on you. The hostess was super helpful with the explanation of how to use the hotpot and got us started. We had fun and the food was tasty. Presentation was classic ! Highly recommend!!

My husband and I chose the shabu shabu and took the all you can eat option for $34.50 per head. It was delicious - we tried both the wagyu beef (very tasty and tender) and the pork. The meal comes with a bowl of rice each and some dipping sauces and it's really good value if you're hungry. BYO for $2.70 per head was a plus and the staff were very friendly and nice! We'll be back to try the sukiyaki!
