I'm not sure I like the new layout as much, as it makes you feel trapped until you get to the back wall, but others might. In the summer it is impossible to step into the shop without a heavy jacket and scarf. Their refrigerators are not capable of regulating their temperature properly, and as a result the store is colder than a skating rink. You can feel the shock upon walking in, it's quite bad. Their selection is pretty good for a small-ish store, and I must admit I'm impressed with the size of the alcohol section. (But then again, when in Britain) Tip: If you go after work (18:00-19:00) you may find no bakery goods left over. However! If there are some, they are going to be seriously discounted. (10p instead of 30p for the mini-baguette!)

The prices are reasonable to slightly expensive, and the range is adequate for a small store, but you wouldn't do a large shop there due to its lack of complete range, and the distance between the store and the parking complex. The store is often busy, with all tills open and queues still being present. There is a separate newsagents area at the front of the store, and there are still often queues at this till during peak moments of the day. The service is reasonable, and the staff pleasant on most occasions.

The Waitrose was only 0.5 miles from my flat, and is also pretty close to the Fulham Broadway tube station. The store is big, spacious, and easy to navigate. I was able to find everything I was looking for, from produce to coffee mugs. Being new to the country, I wasn't familiar with a lot of the retail chains but I had heard that Waitrose might be a bit expensive. However, I found it was pretty easy to get reasonably priced items if you paid attention to reduced price items and/or Waitrose brand items; a lot of their basics are really affordable. There was a pretty good selection of produce, and a lot of teas and bakery items to choose from. My total purchase was about £23 for a bag of stuff that was pretty hard to carry home. Overall I was very satisfied with my trip and the prices. The biggest downside was that the queues were quite long, especially considering it was midday on a weekday, but there's not much to be done about that. Customer service was good, not as eagerly friendly as in the States, but an employee handed me a basket as I walked in and the cashier was efficient. The store accepts major credit cards, although (probably) because mine was foreign, I had to sign my receipt and hand over my card for inspection.

This is one of the nicer ones I've been to and it makes shopping for your weekly fare quite enjoyable, if a bit pricey. The shelves are stocked with simple foods and extravagantly-prepared items that require only a microwave to enjoy- and some, not even that. I have found so many unique items here that I never knew existed and have gotten inspiration to cook foods I never would have thought myself capable of. I'm talking about things like pre-made skinny pancakes that only require a few seconds on each side on the skillet to be ready and are so versatile you can make just about anything with them. Their pre-made salads are both healthy and delicious and come in exciting flavors like Fruity Coconut Curry Rice. Their pastries and desserts are always tantalizing and their fresh juices section is expansive, with yummy selections like Coconut, Pineapple, and Mango smoothies, and cold-pressed fruit & vegetable juices. Everything is fresh and of the highest quality you will find, and while the prices may be up there, it isn't too different from you would be paying to eat out. Recently hook tescos have been introducing more tescos value products which seem to be in more demand, and also improving the store, the latest being the self service tills and the coin counter! This store is too small for a clothes section but there is a tiny homewear section which seems to supply a different variety of bits (saucepans, pots, toastie machines, glasses. (but this varies every few months) a tiny deli and fish counter and also a small section that changes to season wether it be easter or xmas. what i dont like about hook tescos is that if you go up the road to a bigger store, say chineham or even the meadows then you will find the same item but cheaper in these bigger stores then the smaller tescos. However i do think tescos is a lovely well set out store and the staff are generally very helpful and friendly.

The clothing section is quite large and the food section is even bigger! The homewares section is also quite big and covers most of our needs from frying pans to plasma tv's. It does get very busy at weekends so it is worth going during the week if you can as I think it can be stressful at busy times trying to get your way round the store. The car park is vast so there is never a struggle to get a space.

Very busy over Christmas and seasonal events. Has photo processing facilities, 3-4 cash machines, travel money exchange, pharmacy, cafe, recycling, petrol station to name but a few. Masses of parking outside as it is linked to the meadows in camberley which has a huge marks and spencer next to it. overall a nice big shop to get everything you need. Found it very useful there were food manufactured specially for foreign cultures.

It has a cafe, a currency exchange, mini branches of Argos, Habitat and upstairs a Tu clothing range. Fresh food counters include a Bakery, Deli, Fish Counter, Hot Food Counter, Meat Counter, Pizza Counter and a Sushi Bar. There's also a homewares and small electricals section, which runs as far as selling TVs. On my visits, I've always found the checkouts to be a little slow, and the Tu store could with a few more staff (the men's formal shirts section was s bit of a mess). Otherwise, it's good for a one-stop grocery shop.

The grocery side of the store is mostly unchanged. Standard big Sainsbury's on that side. However, it now also has home accessories, small appliances, etc. on the ground floor and clothing upstairs. The whole place is a bit shinier and seems to be keeping up with the improvement the whole area has been getting as its across-the-street neighbord Southside improves & expands.
