The church is simply elegant and has a lovely deep pure vibe. The brand new Fellowship Hall building made our reception absolutely fabulous. We had a seated luncheon for 80 guests, a DJ and dancing. The warm yellow color of the room just made everything glow. It is so beautiful the way the outdoors comes into the room with the big windows and the thoughtful placement of the building in the landscape. We did our wedding photos off the patio and while it was tricky to corral folks, the setting provided precious outdoor family portraits for each family. The caterer was Wholesome Cafe from nearby Ayer - five stars for sure. So delicious and wonderful while being perfectly on time with our schedule. Everyone raved about the food, in particular the Miso Rice and Veggies (who-knew?). And BabyCakes in nearby Stow made our lemon chiffon wedding cake - six stars or more! WOW! Staying at the Friendly Crossways hostel a few minutes away enabled everyone to gather and relax before and after the wedding. Thank you Harvard UU Church for this transformational family event!

The rehearsal went smoothly even though there were about 50 people at the church lol My husband and I are different faiths and this was the first Christian wedding I was experiencing so I was a bit nervous. He made sure I was comfortable and everyone knew what they needed to do.
