Everyone seemed very nice and although everyone was masked and provided appropriate safety measures on the tour, my child's teacher and at least two other individuals that work here do not believe in wearing a mask to protect the vulnerable children during this deadly pandemic. We had to un-enroll her after just two days here. To me, this demonstrated a poor lack of judgment among other things. Why wouldn't you want to protect the children you're teaching? I spoke with the director and she apologized and refunded all of our money. The issue with the staff not masking is complicated as they claimed a religious exemption to masking (which isn't a real thing)! We're two years into his pandemic. Wearing a mask isn't hard. I'm a nurse and wear one all day while caring for patients. It's not hard to protect yourself and others. It amazes me that I even have to write this right now but I want others to be aware before enrolling here in case keeping their children safe at preschool is a concern for them.

In my child's previous schools, there was ALWAYS an open door and parents had an invite to come in and lead an activity or read a book basically whenever they wanted. You get one night every couple of months where only one parent allowed to come in after hours and see the classroom and learn about what your child is working on. Second red flag: Whenever I would come to pick up my child, the (very young) teachers were huddled together talking and planning their weekends together, periodically stopping to yell at the children from across the room or play ground, and then back to talking about the sushi they were gonna eat. Third red flag: It appears that they only hire very young people. When you pay a large monthly tuition, you expect teachers with some sort of experience of formal education. Only the head teachers are trained in Montessori and the assistant teachers are not. Fourth red flag: they charge out the butt for tuition yet teachers are not paid competitive wages. They are constantly cycling through different teachers, assuming because they aren't paying well enough. It seemed like every week I saw a new teacher there. Lastly, from talking with other parents, they had a 4 year old who was going rampant with biting. Their child was coming home with bites every single day. We loved the staff, curriculum, and that our son always came home with something he had learned or created that day with a daily sheet of activities, food, etc. Each room has at least 1 long term staff member with a few that come and go being that it's a large military community which is expected. The director Renee is great as well with communication, dedication to the program, and I always saw her helping out all levels when I randomly stopped by or at pick ups. Even though my son has now started Kindergarten he frequently asks to visit his previous teachers. I'm so happy our son was able to attend M&M!

She helped me with all the paperwork to start my daughter's care (military family with childcare assistance). And my emails were always addressed promptly and all the staff were so approachable. The caregivers in the infant room were so caring and fun. I loved that Ms. Simone always talked constantly to the babies. My daughter was very attached to Ms. Ellen. We were only there for 6 months due to a move. We miss this Martha and Mary and all the staff though!

Sadly I didn't finish it because I had to go number 1 really bad. And my leader named Cassidy is the best she deserves a raise because she was so nice and she knew how to treat us and it was so so easy to talk to her I loved it so much.
