The congregation meets is an historic movie theater on the main street in Tryon. It's a nontraditional venue with water-stained walls and ceilings, but the seats are comfortable! There's coffee and goodies before service, the worship and sermons are above average and the people welcoming. There's Sunday school most Sundays for kids up to 5th grade in the church office a few doors down from the theater with wonderful teachers who escort the kids there. The church furthers personal relationships using community groups that meet on a regular schedule. The church is community-minded and participates in several ways, including Thermal Belt Outreach and Steps to Hope.

The sermon theme that day was "The Need for Connection" and that was why I was there. After a few weeks of attending services, their Monday morning "Coffee" discussion group, and a "Crones" meeting I became a member. This church is progressive and open and welcoming to ANYONE from any denomination, or even atheists. It is also very LGBTQ friendly. They have a wonderful choir, too.

They are annointed and no one in the natural can have the ability to carry so many people! I can still hear Jane's words come into my spirit when I was in Russia and was abducted. I had been shown how to blast the darkness out of the abductors and the Spirit of God arose up in me like never before! The Authority was there just like what was modeled for me as a kid. As I blasted the darkness in him, he asked me to pray for him in Russian and I was set free. Bless you Pastor's Sam and Jane because Courtney Heath loves you and your church family!
