They bring a passion with them to the expertise they offer you. That's what it's like to step into Ms Audrey's Emporium. The entrance is filled with art projects that invite you to explore within yourself- What do you wish to create? What crafting skill have you been meaning to pick up or grow? What part of you haven't you had a chance to express yet? And then Ms Audrey will ask you what you're interested in making, so she can help you bring it from idea to life! My artistic, seven-year-old daughter and I came to Louisville for spring break and enjoyed spending more than two days with Ms Audrey. We had stopped at the Speed Art Museum on our way into the city. Pro tip: The speed is free on Sundays. My daughter was inspired by some community artwork with mixed media on canvas. We showed a picture of the inspiration to Ms Audrey. She had the perfect materials and know-how to help us create our own masterpiece, inspired by the art we saw at the museum. My daughter did not want to do anything else in the city besides make art with Ms Audrey- we even skipped the children's museum. We learned different techniques for using the materials and I'll definitely be incorporating them as we continue to create at home. Ms Audrey helps you not only bring beauty into the world, but she makes learning a new craft accessible step by step. Her process helps you create while expanding your crafting skills along the way. She offers such a unique experience. As someone who continually strives to bring analog experiences to the younger generations, I fully approve and value the service she brings to the community. Her prices are absolutely affordable for the value and materials she has to offer. If you're considering starting a crafting hobby or working on a specific craft project, go see Ms Audrey.

I am a student here and I am having a fantastic time. Graduate school is really a lot of work but…read morethe Seminary works really hard to provide the students with support and human care while enrolled. I already have a graduate degree so this isn't my first time in "even higher Ed" but this is my first time in such a gentle community of scholars and feeling really supported not just by the faculty of the school but the professional staff as well. As a student I have not only enjoyed great classes but my internship opportunities have been fruitful as well. There are extra lectures that are open to the community, opportunities to provide public, AND because it is Presbyterian everyone is welcome to attend and participate fully but also there are committees where you get to frequently use Robert's Rules of Order. So many committees, so many motions. The Seminary also features a counseling center where you can recieve low-cost therapy for yourself or your family, couple, etc. This is a chill Jesus type of Christian institution and there are several students who are not Presbyterian (I'm not) and even students who don't practice a form of Christianity. These are the most earnest and sincere people I have ever studied or worked with. If you're looking for angry Jesus, he's across the street.

My room was very clean and spacious. It took me a while to find the business center; they had two computers with a printer, but i couldn't get online. The grounds and the locale were particularly impressive, reflective of a very affluent "Kentucky" neighborhood: old trees, endless manicured lawns, a golf course nearby. Considering the political reputation of KY, and the notoriety of a neighboring Southern Baptist Seminary, I was somewhat hesitant about excessive rules or a dominant religiously evangelistic culture, but I thought this location had a good balance, lots of opportunties for spiritual reflection and practice, but not an oppressive expectation of uniformity. Finally, we had breakfast at the school cafeteria, and while it was quiet and typical of a buffet/cafeteria, the grits, casserole, and and eggs and ham were quite adequate. The fruit seemed sort of generic... I would have preferred peaches, pears, etc., that I assume would be plentiful in the autumn, in the south!

I was enthralled walking into this space and the gallery displays were phenomenal! One of my favorite artists was actually there talking about her pieces- and it is always wonderful to meet the artist behind exhibited pieces! She made wonderful sculptures of busts and heads with what I would call brain chaos sprouting out of the tops of the heads. For me- I love art that sparks an emotional response, is something relatable, or something that just sparks my curiosity and imagination. There were plenty of other artists work there too and I loved several different pieces. On this particular evening I was sprinting through town hitting up several galleries- but this was my first stop and made a huge impression on me. The space itself is also wonderful. We were only allowed access to the downstairs gallery, I assume classrooms were upstairs or downstairs (or both) and I could see there were other exhibits, but those were closed. Cincinnati really embraced the NCECA pottery crowd and made sure to have as many exhibits across town as possible!

They used to be located in Mt…read more Adams but recently purchased a larger building in Over-the-Rhine and have moved everything downtown. It's a beautiful building on Jackson Street that was re-done to fit the style of the Art Academy. Inside there is a sprawling atrium that looks up all the floors around the staircases. There is gallery space all over the building and chances are there is some show up. Right now the SOS Political art show is hung up as well as the Visual Fringe Gallery for the Fringe Festival. The Art Academy generously donates a classroom to the Fringe Festival as well for it's use for a few plays and it's a great space for them! The Art Academy unfortunately had a rapid decrease in enrollment since their move downtown, which was to be expected. However, with the revitalization of the gateway quarter (as it's now being called) things should be looking up for them. If you are looking for a great art school for all aspects of visual art and design, this is the place to go!

I definitely think each school within the system is different and you should look at reviews by location, but the Klondike location was wonderful! Lindsey, the director, is simply amazing and hires only the best. The turn over for lead teachers is almost non-existent (at least while we were there.) They are kind and knowledgeable. The food they serve is great and they always have more than enough for seconds. They are always engaging kids in fun learning activities. We miss them greatly and would recommend them to all our friends. Don't let their lower cost fool you, this school is on par with schools like Primrose and Goddard.

It was my first time putting my son in daycare and I was very nervous but the director, Lindsey did an amazing job at walking us through the process and making us feel reassured. My son started in the 1-2 year old classroom and Becca and Katie were very nurturing and loving and it was relieving to see other people treat my son the way I would treat him. The organization has great curriculum and everyday my son would come home and would show me the sign language he learned or different colors. It is nice being able to see the process in your child and I owe a lot of his intelligence to Kindercare. Once my son moved up to the toddlers room, I was so impressed how they had structure and the room was ran similar to a little preschool. They also assessed my son personally and when they thought he was ready, they recommended to start potty training. It was so helpful to have his daycare and his home routine to be the same and it has greatly helped him with the potty training process. I am just so happy with the organization, the activities they do with the children, and the support they have with the parents. I cannot speak highly enough for the faculty and the care they provide to the children as well as the parents.
