Tonight we stopped in and it was a perfect night to be out. The place was hopping! The food trucks were slammed and some even running out of some items. We opted for some Yum Yum Chicken from Johnny Thai's food truck. The large portion was plenty to share. Sorry no photo of that since my hubby dug into it before I had a chance to get a picture. Dirtbags came to our rescue and said that they would be the hub for our crowd coming through and they did that by changing their hours of operation to accommodate the guests that we're passing through the place technically is a bar, but it has a total family atmosphere and they operate like family. They started as two veterans with a vision and they have a heart of gold.

As far as the eye can see LIQUOR LIQUOR LIQUOR & guess what... MORE LIQUOR. It makes choosing your poison relatively easy. Arrangement of booze is such that types of alcohol are grouped together... Which makes the pickings all the easier. Scotch over here... Tequila (my personal favorite) over here... Holiday drinks ie eggnog over here... It's located in what I'd describe as Fayetteville's business/industrial area, but don't let that fool you -- it was a great stop! They have a nice outdoor seating area with lights that make it especially enjoyable at night. Inside, the space is huge, with a big screen for sports, cornhole, darts, and plenty of room to relax. One thing we really appreciated was that they're dog friendly, which is always a bonus when traveling with furry family members. The beer was cold and definitely hit the spot, and our kids absolutely loved the mocktails. We only wished the beer selection had been a little larger, though they also offered wines and ciders. Overall, it was a fun and welcoming place to visit. If you're in the area, it's definitely worth checking out!

So to the Heckler crew, thank you for keeping it simple. This visit I had the Fried Pickles which if being honest were good but they're not the best I've had. If I could give a recommendation I would move away from the breading that's being used as I feel it takes away from the actual pickle which for me is about 90% of the taste profile. The breading was a bit overpowering. Sometimes simple is better. But that's just my opinion as a fried pickle enthusiast. Now as for the pizza, I have to give a solid high five. I've been here three times and everytime I've gotten a pizza and none have disappointed. This time around I got the meat lovers and it was fresh, and delicious. Overall, Heckler is a great place to go and one thing I do love about this place is that it's always a chill vibe, with great service.
