Took my mother in for a X-ray. Everything was good from the time we entered till the time we left.

From the registration nurse to the ER nurses and attending physician, the staff was rude and dismissive to my wife and son. They rushed through the examination, failing to properly assess his condition. They attempted to use an adult-sized catheter on my infant, which my wife had to intervene to stop--a dangerous and careless mistake. The ER doctor (Dr. Mark Reiter) checked my son's ears and throat, claimed everything looked fine, and diagnosed a viral infection, advising us it would "run its course." Keep in mind that this Doctor is on the Executive Board of Middle Tennessee Emergency Physicians. Feeling dismissed, we took our son to his pediatrician the next day, who immediately noticed his throat was severely inflamed and diagnosed a severe case of strep throat via testing. The pediatrician noted that his throat was so raw it was surprising he could drink his bottle. This misdiagnosis could have led to serious complications if we hadn't sought a second opinion. The ER staff's behavior was unacceptable. They were socializing and appeared more focused on rushing us out than providing care. I'm pursuing a formal complaint with the hospital and state authorities due to this negligence and lack of professionalism. I strongly advise others to avoid this ER, especially for pediatric emergencies, as their care fell far below acceptable standards.

They took me right in and was caring for my needs. They were so kind and supportiv. They tried everything they could to stop the bleeding. Being a small rural hospital, they didn't have the staff to be able to fix my condition and had to transfer me. But there was nothing else that they could do. They contacted my original surgeon and was coordinating my transfer to Summit Hospital in Hermitage, TN who was on staff that day. I treated kindly and I really appreciated the care I received on a weekend. I made it just in time to have emergency surgery in Nashville.

I went to the ER after my own dog vivcously attacked me with out me doing anything to him. If my sister wasn't home he would most definitely killed me. I had 7 gaping wounds on my left hand and arm. The hand had the most damage due to being about to see into the top of the hand to the tendons and bones. I knew it was extremely bad but thought that the correct protocol would be follow in dog attacks cases. Which is was not. Starting with when I was placed in the exam room and taking the towel off the hand and arm (I had to use a bath towel due to all the blood) I was asked could my move my fingers on my left hand which I could (but please stupid people you can move a broken hand, finger, I know this because I've experience broken bones and can still move the area, plus being in the medical field all my life I know this fact) so since I could move the fingers the staff thought there was no need for an x-ray. Big mistake because the second knuckle and tendon was destroyed. Second the nurse was told to was all my gaping wounds (chunks were taken out and fat tissue was hanging out) the stupid nurse only dabbed at the areas and never touch the hand. I know that I was in shock but I know for a fact what occur. If she had properly cleaned my hand I may have not ended up 3 days later admitted to the hospital for a bone infection and was in the hospital for a week. When I was admitted Jan 29, 2019 an x-ray was done and that was load and be hold my second knuckle was crushed, finger bone split down to the first knuckle on the middle finger and the tendon was ruptured. Also that was when pictures were taking of all my injuries which this should had been done when I went to the ER after the attack. So my advice if you go to this ER be aware of what goes on in your care. Document it and file a complaint with Tennessee Health Department. There are way to many short cuts the whole hospital does which is not safe for the patient or staff.

Gainesboro Medical Clinic- NP Mrs. Breanna Meadows…read more My wife and I are an elderly couple. We chose this clinic because it was close to our home. We had appointments with NP Meadows. First off, the floors were filthy, that should have been our first clue. This was our first visit there, and to say the least, we won't be going back there. She first checked our blood pressure, and both were high. She didn't address that abnormal symptom at all. All she was concerned about was a certain medication that we had been on for over 35 years, and with 7 different MD's. Said she would not prescribe those medications without passing multiple drug test. Scheduled us for 3 back to back appointments, for drug screening at 71 years old. DONE with NP Meadows. Seemed unconcerned about our high BP and health needs. Would not recommend this NP Meadows.
