Great ambience and the service was quick and good. If you like Mexican food this place wont disappoint, The potato chip and the avocado dip is one of the best. Variety of tacos to try. They have lot of different hot sauces to try out as well.

For Mexican food in Surrey, it's really good. Clean restaurant perfect to bring my kids. I'm a sucker for crispy seafood or molé sauce and they're really good here.

Sal y Limon was bringing all the flavour and hospitality even in a pandemic. They had a 50% off all orders for Frontline Workers and it was easy and quick to get a delicious meal after a long day at work. The burritos are huge and they pack it so you and the burrito are stuffed. The meats are well-marinated, a little dry at time but the sauces are a great solution for that. I had the battered fish burrito as well and it was fresh and crispy. Service is always friendly and I'm happy that Sal y Limon is staying in business during this difficult time. Thank you for everything!

I was here with my family on Sept 3rd (Monday) and our experience was fantastic. SYL Surrey location is bigger cleaner and beautiful in terms of interior and decoration. Even the washrooms are bigger and fancier than Kingsway one. We had Super Sal Y Limon Burrito ($10.50), Tacos, Carne Asada Torta Sandwich ($9.05) with Coconut Horchata ($2.50) everything was fantastic. SSYL Burrito was huge and my parents shared food together. We were all amazed of how tasty the food was and the variety of sauce to choose from. Similar to Kingsway location there is kid's playground, so Moms and Dads can talk while watch kids playing. Staff and the manager were friendly. This place is SO worth your time if you want tasty Mexican food.

This Sal y Limon location is within Morgan Crossing. The decor is nice and the restaurant is spacious. I think that this place is overrated, but it may be just this location that isnt very good. The cool thing about Sal y Limon is that they have a salsa bar that has many different flavors of salsa. The top ones in my opinion were the peanut salsa and the avocado salad, they didnt stand out that much in flavour though. My table ordered tacos, nachos, and a burrito. We all came to an agreement that the tortillas used weren't very good. It tasted really floury and the texture was mushy. The contents of the tacos and burritos were good, but didnt amaze us. The nachos were pretty good and saucy, but it got really soggy after sitting for 10 minutes. The one thing that was really gross was that there were A LOT of fruit flies that harrassed us. The flies didnt care about us waving our hands around and landed on our food regardless. We all lost our appetites after seeing 4 flies land on our food and decided to throw away half of our nachos. Extremely disappointing considering all the hype that Sal y Limon gets. Will never come back to this location and may give the Vancouver one a chance.

Fresh Potato Chips with a Cheese Salsa...yes please!!

My visit to Sal y Limon was long over due! Their Al Pastor Taco is the reason we started grilling pineapple on the BBQ for a sweet and smoky addition to our tacos at home! My kids came and told me all about it and I finally came myself to check it out last night before heading to White Rock to see the sunset! At the till they had samples of their warm fresh potato chip served with a cheese salsa or a chipotle sauce...both so good but we ordered the cheese salsa to go along with our chips because of the fresh cilantro! I was trying to decide between the Fresh Mango Juice, Coconut Horchata or the Cinnamon Horchata...so the girl offered samples of all 3 to help me decide! We went with the Coconut Horchata and the Mango Juice and then mixed them together....so so fresh and bursting with flavour! As our mains we ordered the Chorizo Burrito - was huge and had a nice smokiness to the chorizo 1 Al Pastor Taco - pork with pineapple the perfect balance of salty and sweet 1 Carne Asada - a great classic 1 Cochinita - just a slight kick to it! All the tacos were topped with fresh onion and cilantro...yum! The best part was the hot sauce bar...so many great flavours to kick up the spice and flavours to any dish exactly to your liking! To end off our Mexican Feast we shared a fresh Churro! Had the texture you want in a churro...crispy on the outside and soft on the inside! In the running for our favourite churros ever...from a stand at the Tijuana Boarder Crossing...pretty hard to beat those! Loved the energetic, authentic, yet modern atmosphere...the Hispanic customers validated the place for me! The artwork was vibrant and fun!

Al pastor tacos! Conchita pilbil quesidilla. Delicious.

Oh how I love this place! We were so happy to see a location open near us and it hasn't disappointed at all. My personal favourite is the al pastor tacos and the quesidilla with conchita pilbil. Woah. Tip - get the guacamole and chips to explore all the hot sauces and skip the Pico. Yum!

Very tasty place. 2 of us had the chicken burritos. Really good and super filling, could only eat half. The chicken quesadilla was delicious. It's a counter service place, we weren't expecting that. So no sit down chips and salsa. But we recommend this place. Great service too. Food was quick to get. Nice clean upbeat place. Oh, and the pina colada was soooo good!

Such great tacos here! If you are craving some authentic Mexican food come here. The tacos are reasonably priced, around $3 but you need 2 or 3 to fill you up. They are small but delicious! The tortilla soup is wonderful. Very flavourful with a dollop of sour cream and guacamole on top! We come back here all the time! The one on Fraser St. is just as good!

This place was recommended to us by a friend and it did not disappoint. I can only comment on the tacos, which is what we ordered, and they were AH-MAZING !! It's pretty much a hole in the wall and authentic as they come (this is no Baha Fresh my friends). If we weren't pressed for time I would have ordered more. Honestly you can't go wrong with any of the taco selections . And a few more BONUSES They have horchata and a few other yummy drinks like mango juice, pina colada, and coconut horchata - what?!? AND a plus for those with little ones... This place has a little kiddie play area allowing us parents to feast first while they busy themselves pretend cooking.

One of my favourtite Mexican restaurants near our place. The ambiance was awesome too and very instagrammable. I loved their fish tacos, my boys loved their sandwiches and we all loved their Churros!! We discovered Mexican drinks too which was an added delight. With very friendly and helpful staff, strict covid measures and an excellent patio, we will surely be back.

Some solid Mexican food when compared to what we have to choose from in the lower mainland. It is not quite like the Mexican food in Mexico or Southern California. I sampled a few tacos and they were pretty good. I enjoyed the different types of salsa we could choose from. There was a chart on the level of spiciness by the salsa. There is a kids play area which is geared towards young families in the area. Restrooms were very clean. Service was fast.

The food is good but the portions for the price can be disappointing if you just get the taco. So i suggest getting a burrito instead

We arrived around 7:45pm on a Saturday night and it was busy with a FIFA game on the TV. The staff were friendly and we got a table after they cleaned one for us. Really cute authentic Mexican joint run by friendly hard working Mexicans. Each table gets served complimentary chips with salsa, which was amazing. I asked how much to get an extra side of salsa and the waiter told me they don't sell it but for me, he'll get me another free side of salsa. My boyfriend ordered two soft tacos and I got the chicken enchiladas with green salsa plus a lingua (beef tongue) soft taco as I needed leftovers for lunch the next day. We also asked for waters and a grapefruit soda. The food arrived pretty quickly and I really enjoyed the rice, refried beans, and the chicken enchiladas. A lot of Mexican joints have dry chicken but the chicken here is juicy and flavourful. The beef lingua taco was okay - not outstanding but not bad. Their hot salsa and creama sauce were outstanding though - we asked for extra to take home with my enchiladas leftovers. One of the servers forgot our water, soda, and extra salsa but we managed to get it after awhile. He was extremely apologetic but no biggie. Great friendly service with solid food - this might be one of my favourite new spots in Surrey.
