Last minute decision to come here. Mole was delicious. Staff very friendly, [[HIGHLIGHT]]cute interior[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]], will definitely return when I'm in the area.

Great food here, drinks are amazing and this visit was just drinks before old surrey restaurant dinner

I wanted a spicy jalapeño margarita, but it wasn't on the menu. I asked for it and he brought me this delicious drink!!

This place is phenomenal I've heard great reviews & finally tried it myself. Ended up going 3 Fridays in a row. Cant wait for my next visit, every time has been amazing!

I went for dinner with a couple friends at Salsa and Guacamole. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Entering the restaurant, you are greeted with a modern and clean space that is surprisingly warm for being partially underground and not having many windows.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant was less than half full and most tables appeared to have some food.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We ordered the Los Tres Amigos to start which is chips, salsa, guacamole, and a queso like sauce. It was okay, but super flavourful. Just prior to this we got our drinks, I just a Diet Coke and my one friend had a water. We never got a refill on either throughout the night. My friend ordered the Chilaquiles and I ordered the beef quesadilla. It took quite a while for us to get our food considering how empty the restaurant was. When we got the food, it was nicely presented but underwhelming especially at the price point. The quesadilla was $20 and was just a quesadilla with sour cream, salsa, and a cilantro sauce. No rice, no beans, no salad, just a quesadilla. Rice and beans are available as adding but at that price point I would have expected them to be served with the dish, and did not want to order them as a side for an extra $5 for rice and $5.90 for beans. The quesadilla itself was unremarkable, somewhat bland but it was just steak and cheese. The chilaquiles was very acidic and not well balanced causing my friend to leave half on the place. We wanted to try dessert but ultimately didn't think the gamble of a single churro at almost $12 was worth the risk given our mains. All in all the atmosphere was nice, but the service was lacklustre and the food was very disappointing at the price point.

Very clean interior, not too loud, and love the happy hour time! The beer was a great addition, would go on the weekends for lunch again! The staff kept asking if we need anything as well so i felt accommodated.

Was in the neighbourhood and my boyfriend suggested this place as he used to go many years ago…read morewhile working on King George and when this restaurant was situated at its original location when it was a hole in the wall spot with plastic tables and chairs, plus a Mexican grocery store attached. We arrived around 7:45pm on a Saturday night and it was busy with a FIFA game on the TV. The staff were friendly and we got a table after they cleaned one for us. Really cute authentic Mexican joint run by friendly hard working Mexicans. Each table gets served complimentary chips with salsa, which was amazing. I asked how much to get an extra side of salsa and the waiter told me they don't sell it but for me, he'll get me another free side of salsa. My boyfriend ordered two soft tacos and I got the chicken enchiladas with green salsa plus a lingua (beef tongue) soft taco as I needed leftovers for lunch the next day. We also asked for waters and a grapefruit soda. The food arrived pretty quickly and I really enjoyed the rice, refried beans, and the chicken enchiladas. A lot of Mexican joints have dry chicken but the chicken here is juicy and flavourful. The beef lingua taco was okay - not outstanding but not bad. Their hot salsa and creama sauce were outstanding though - we asked for extra to take home with my enchiladas leftovers. One of the servers forgot our water, soda, and extra salsa but we managed to get it after awhile. He was extremely apologetic but no biggie. Great friendly service with solid food - this might be one of my favourite new spots in Surrey.
