I start with a pina colada. This is good virgin colada. We have the two rolls special. We have sabado de trevi. It is shrimp inside; avocado outside; served with eel sauce. It come with nine pieces. Surprise to me is the roll is in square shape. Very good roll. The second roll is the fried roll with shrimp. Both rolls are good. Service is good. Restaurant is a simple layout. It share with other restaurants in the square.

I don't know why on god's green earth I thought it would be a decent idea to go to a Chinese buffet…read morein Oaxaca Mexico so I'll take full ownership of the bad decision making. It had good reviews though so I was hoping that I would be pleasantly surprised! On the plus side - the buffet is $150 pesos; very reasonable with a drink included. Food is horrible to my palate. Maybe better to Mexicans' expectations of Chinese food but I hated what I tried. I did like the beef and broccoli as well as the orange chicken(??) and egg rolls. Would not recommend.
I stopped in a little past 2 PM on Sunday, August 3rd and decided to go with the buffet. I was…read moregreeted immediately upon entering, and I was given my choice of tables. I picked my table in the larger of two seating areas. The place was pretty busy and there was a little boy, whom I assume was family to someone working there. He was scurrying around the entrance and was quite loud, but not a big deal for me. The restaurant was rather plainly furnished with sparse decorations. I asked for the one free water that came with the buffet. The water actually tasted like lemonade, which I liked, but it wasn't just water. The buffet wasn't huge, but afforded many choices. I tried a little bit of almost everything available. I made two trips to the buffet, and certainly got my money's worth. My two opinions on the food were that many dishes were too salty, and nothing tasted fresh. None of the many items I tried wowed me. It was all just okay. I definitely take into account that I was eating from a buffet, along with the timing of my visit may have impacted the quality of many dishes. The trade off was the price, which was 175 pesos. The exchange rate on that day equated to $9.28 USD, which is a great value. I will likely return because of the price and hope for some fresher flavors.
My first plate. Nothing impressed on this visit. The crispy roll was probably my favorite item.
