I was in search of fresh, farm grown, vegetables and found plenty here. As I walked around the market all of the vendors were very friendly and helpful as they eagerly described the items that they had for sale. I ended up leaving the market with green beans, corn on the cob, zucchini, kohlrabi, beets, red potatoes, and tomatoes. All of these goodies will last us through the week. I have never tried kohlrabi but the farmer that had it said they just peel the green off and slice it put a little salt on it and eat it so I thought I would give it a try! The fresh flowers and arrangements were absolutely beautiful as were so many items found in the local craftsmamen's booths. I will probably be right back here next weekend. Come out and give it a walkthrough. Not to mention that there is a local bakery next door that I haven't tried yet

But beyond that they also have really good food items inside of their shop. The salad dressing we got has been one of our favorites in a long time. They have maple syrup and tons of fruit and lots of candy especially right now :-) I like to stop by here every week or so to just see what's going on and all of the staff are really nice people.

I'm thinking it really comes down to a matter of preference and necessity. Gaudio has good produce and seems to be more crowded than it's very close rival, but I don't think it necessarily blows it out of the water. It does, however, beat Kroger & co. hands down in price and quality.

I walked in through the doors of the Church and found a smallish set-up with tables stocked with wares from various farmers and food producers. Fab Ferments was my first stop where I had utterly sublime Kimchi. Their juniper caraway saurkraut was super tasty too. I spoke with one of the two business partners of the fermented food operation and it was a pleasure to speak to the fellow who made the food I was enjoying so much. His affected hippiesque speaking style was appreciated, not overwhelming and lent authenticity to the experience. I was, after all, chowing down on rotting vegetables. But rotting in a truly remarkable way. Flute music was being played by another guy at a nearby table, and it seems that music is scheduled for proper marketing ambiance. The website lists some of the products to expect, but microgreens, honey, various root vegetables, gourmet cookies, spices and herbs, apples and other stuff I'm forgetting are there for your shopping convenience. As with most farmers' markets, bring cash. Wednesdays from 4-7:30pm. Street parking and probably lot parking available, though I walked it.
