Unfortunately this was the only shop in town so I had no other options but to pay the overpriced screen replacement . Screen replacement is usually around 60. This guy is laughing all the way to the bank. I handed a card to the cashier to pay and he claimed his card machine wasn't working and he only accepted cash . This caused me to have to walk to Walgreens and pay an additional ATM machine fee to pull out cash . After I overpaid for the service , he so nicely offered 15 percent off items in his store ... I wasn't amused . He also offered to sell me an overpriced "waterproof " case to hold my phone . As he was showing me how the case "worked " it was falling apart . If you are in an emergency situation like I was it'll get the job done but by he pricing is unreasonable .

Every time they 'fixed' the phone they would mess something else up and want to make it seem like it was my fault, they even went as far to say I had probably dropped my phone in the water and just didn't remember it, they kept my phone for 4 months, and went I finally got it back they said 'Apple changed the passcode on it's own' and that it's not their fault. I visited the store last week. I was shopping for AirPods. The next generation noise cancelling…read morewas for sale and expensive. I did not shop around as I was under the false impression that Apple product prices are controlled and consistent no matter where purchased. My bill for AirPods came to $278. 5 days later I was in Best Buy across the street, same AirPods are selling for $199. On Amazon, for $174. I went back 5 days after purchase to return my AirPods, in mint condition but the box was opened. I expressed consumer dissatisfaction at that price. I was told, they don't return anything that has been opened and that as they are a reseller they do not have to follow Apple Guide lines for returns. Nor do they return funds, they give you a store credit. BUYER BEWARE. I feel $104 stolen from my pocket. They were unmoved and unmoving of their rules. My recommendation, do NOT shop at Modernica in Puerto Rico. Total rip off. Shame on Apple for doing business with this third party reseller. As it looks and feels like an Apple store the customer is conned into thinking the policies will be identical despite being called, Modernica. THIS IS NOT AN APPLE STORE. I will never shop here again, I will tell everyone I know not to shop here and I question my alliance to Apple as they were unable to resolve the issue as I had hoped they might. Was I looking for an exception? After 20 years and thousands of dollars spent on Apple products within my family, yes, I was. I called Apple and they said there was NOthing they could do to ease the price burden differential carried by the customer. There is a small sign at the back of the shop that reads, "Apple Premium Reseller" which should, for most people, breed confidence going forth with a purchase not serve as consumer trickery.
