Roofing is all they should do and they should remove "construction" from their name. We hired them a year ago for an insurance claim. It took the subcontractor 5 weeks to finish the siding job and we have lost siding at least 6 different occasions. They did provide an 8 year warranty. Yes I said 8 that is not a typo. But after the third time we lost siding Gary Handy blew off our request for repair, Erik Salazar finally sent someone out to make the repair. All in all we have had siding come off in the same spots a total of 6 times. Replaced aluminum siding with vinyl siding and their salesman, Preston said it would hold up better than the aluminum. Now that we are demanding they make a permanent fix Mike from the Yukon office all of a sudden is saying they don't know anything about siding. Salazar Roofing replaced our roof after we sustained damage in the severe storm last spring. We are very pleased with the job they did. They are a local company, had excellent communication, came when they said they would, completed the work efficiently, and cleaned up very well. After the roofers left, I didn't find a single stray nail around our property. We were MOST impressed with our representative, Danny Crotts. In our opinion, Danny went above and beyond. He helped us navigate pushback we received from the insurance company and really stayed on them to help us get as much as we could toward the replacement cost. He was patient, flexible, and honest. We trusted him very much. I highly recommend Salazar Roofing and I would work with them again in a heartbeat... although I do hope it's years and years before I have a need to. :-) read more

Seven years ago, we hired Salazar Roofing and Construction to remove and replace our roof due to wind damage. The plan was to ensure every shingle was attached with 5 nails and the roof would be guaranteed for 5 years. The crew made my roof look great, however it was discovered half way through they were only using three nails per shingle. That wasn't a problem in my eyes, the manager at the time said, "I'll still guarantee it for the full five years". That was a true statement. Each time there was an issue, his team was here and fixed any issue we had in a very timely manner. Fast forward to present time. My roof sustained a small amount of damage due to the strong Southwest Oklahoma wind; A very small spot maybe 4 feet long and three feet wide. I called Salazar and asked them to come fix it, fully prepared to pay their regular rates. their current Manager arrived in a few days to take a look. He advised he'd be back to fix it "free of charge" the following Thursday or Friday. I pushed back and advised I'm willing to pay for the repair. He insisted it was no trouble and he'd be out to fix it up in a few days, on Thursday or Friday. Friday came and went. I assumed he got hung up with tons of wind damage and felt okay with it. But then he stopped returning my calls, will not answer text messages and I have not heard from him since. Its been 7 weeks. I called the Salazar office hoping the situation would get resolved and I'd get my roof fixed, always willing to pay the fair price to have the work done. I've never heard another word from them. Very disappointed! I'm calling a different company and don't plan to do business with Salazar Roofing & Construction again. Bottom line: If you say you are going to do something, do it. If you can't do what you say you are going to do, communicate with your customers to let them know what's going on. Very disappointed! 5/27/2022 followup: I decided to call one last time to see if I could get any service from this company. The receptionist took down my information, asked questions about the situation, apologized and advised she would get back to me. That was four days ago. I'll never use Salazar again, and will recommend to all my friends and family to run away from this company. They are not a reputable business. Final Update 5/28/2022 Followup: Someone did finally arrive to fix the small spot on my roof. While I've been willing to pay for the repair the entire time, he advised there would be no charge for it. I am certain he is being truthful when he advised he is overwhelmed; the Southwest Oklahoma wind is relentless. In the future, it would be good to communicate with your customers. I never make Yelp reviews, but we had horrible service with this company. Set up an appointment for Monday at 11:30. Didn't show. My husband called 4 times between 12:00-1:00. No answer. The guy finally called back and showed up around 11:45. He was on the roof for less than 5 minutes, and said he would come back between 6-7 that evening. Never showed up. We tried to call him every single day until Friday when we finally gave up. Keep in mind we had very minor repairs needing fixed that would not have taken long at all. I have known of Salazar Roofing for many years so when I had damage, I knew who I wanted to call. They came out and put on two knew hail resistant roofs on my 2 homes. The roofs looked great and I was pleased. That was the end of a good experience with this company. It took almost 3 months to get my carport done and 4 months for my gutters. When they came to do the roofs, they removed my west side property markers. One of them they threw down in front of the brick columns on my driveway. The other they drove into the center of my front yard to stake their dog. They hit the south side brick column of my driveway crumbling bricks and knocking the column off of it's foundation. It is leaning now and could very easily fall into the bar ditch. They also damaged the driveway in the front of the column with their heavy vehicle and the drive is now eroding. They put all new vents in the roof. When they vented the new hot water heater, the pipes did not match up so they forced them together and crushed the vent of the hot water heater and the pipe is not even over the vent. It also does not match @ the roof line so any fume it does catch is being ventilated into my attic. They still have not replaced the eave under the porch of my second home. Unfortunately, I have already paid them. They were supposed to make a supplemental claim to my insurance but this all happened in August. I park a sports car under my carport and I have a concrete slab in the front of the carport that lets me know when to stop the car. For some reason they moved the concrete block and turned it sideways. It was dark and I did not realize what they had done. I pulled my car in and when I opened the door, it hit the metal side of the car port, scratching my mirror. The salesman who sold me the roof was supposed to rent the second home but said Gary, his office manager told him that he could not move in until our business was done. I waited 3 months and that did not happen so 3 months rent lost. Run, don't walk away from this nightmare of a company. Read other people's reviews. I definitely should have. It would have saved time, money and alot of frustration. I only gave them 1 star because it forces you to give a star rating. read more

Even in the face of probably the toughest of times for businesses, every single point of contact from first call, to the bid, to dodging bad weather and a country wide shutdown, to construction, clean up and inspection, this company treated us as if we were their first customer or their favorite! Little things make or break a business and I'll tell you that Salazar WILL DO ALL THE LITTLE THINGS, always!!! Every detail from every angle has been very satisfactory to us. Imagine how I felt when they were finished, our porches and drive were cleaner than when they arrived, to include fallen sticks & leaves!!! Our new roof is really beautiful and exactly what I had in mind (they were so patient while I decided). Roofing companies everywhere in our area are swamped but you'd never know it from Salazar. Just so very kind and professional....not just the office employees, I mean ALL of the crews! Several people kind of jumped through hoops of their own accord to make it all happen on budget and on time. Beautiful guttering topped off this job, we couldn't be more satisfied. A THOUSAND STARS!!
