You can find many ethnic restaurants and things to check out. Around the station are many parks that aren't so crowded. It serves the A Train. This is the final stop on this Line, so you have to walk a few blocks over to the 1 Line to make a transfer. Getting off here makes it one of the better stations, even though it's kind of scummy inside. It ends in one of my favorite areas of Manhattan where it's not packed with businessmen and tourists. A lot of great parks are here. There's also views of the Hudson River. A few good restaurants are here. There's a lot of Dominican owned places. I like getting off here. Many parks and lots of things to do around it. The station itself kind of sucks but the location makes up for this.

And there are days when the bus comes when it feels like it, the bus is packed, and traffic is bumper-to-bumper on the Bruckner. With the BxM7, you never know what you're going to get. The fare is $6.75, which is borderline overpriced. The buses have comfortable seats and charging outlets. Other than taking the local bus to the slow 6 train, the BxM7 is the only way to get from Coop City to Manhattan.

This Line follows Broadway in Washington Heights all the way up. It doesn't have as much to see in this area. There are some good things. Across Fort Washington Avenue is Jay Hood Wright Park. It sits along the Hudson River. The George Washington Bridge is a few blocks to the north of this. In the park are many athletic facilities. The bridge is a landmark. Having these close is the only reason to get off here. The station is pretty terrible. It smells bad. There's also sketchy characters around here. It gets you to a few attractions. Many athletic facilities are in the park. The bridge is a popular spot.

And if it wasn't crumbling and gritty, I think the station would actually be very nice today. But, since it's New York City, this station is pretty gritty. One of my first general complaints that comes to the station is not the grit, but the fact that it's not wheelchair accessible when it easily has the advantage to be. But if you are disabled and in the area, there's only a station four blocks away on the same train at 207th Street. There is also an entrance facing the park, so it's general entrances are actually helpful. It's in a very residential and commercial area, and it's generally used a lot, so it's very it's good besides my two complaints of the grit and not having handicap access.

It serves the A Train. The elevators and escalators to the top are a long way. It's very deep. The elevators go to the Cloisters so that's a convenient way. It lets you off in Fort Tryon Park. The area is very beautiful and quiet. In the station it usually isn't crowded. There might be crowds if something at the museum is going on. It gives you good access to the Cloisters. Maybe you just want to explore Fort Tryon Park. This is the best station for those.

It's always clean esp the restrooms. I took away 1 star bc there needs to be an atm on the upper level due to the jitney van only accepting cash. I had to go all the way down to the small bodega inside on the lower level to take cash out. Also, the staff isn't always friendly and helpful. They seem annoyed whenever you ask a question. Otherwise, quick and easy way to get to NJ, very reliable also

They've added some great shops to this station, a market, snack spots, clean bathrooms. It's looking good! I checked out Marshall's while I was there since it was connected through a downstairs door. Very convenient. Now a straight shot to meet the L train and that's a wrap on today's travels.

Waiting time for train intervals are approximately ten minute difference because the 1 train is local. Dingy and dirty plus elevators constantly out of order. As a life long New Yorker who travels by subway, bus and railroad this station is horrible. Rubbish strewn overflowing the very minimal receptacles and MTA employees do not remove or dispose garbage. This station gives access to Northern Manhattan's Washington Heights as I sometimes visit friends. This station is on the western edge of Manhattan in the vicinity of George Washington Bridge. The original mosaic wall tiles are charming to admire and well restored.

This has to be the worst train station in Manhattan. Besides the fact that the 1 line is already a…read moremess, elevators here are always out of order and unfortunately its the only way to get down to the trains. The Metrocard machines rarely work - today they're only accepting coins, go figure. The staff is super rude even when you're just asking simple questions, with the exception of one really nice man who works the elevators sometimes. During the summer months the whole station feels like a hell hole, you won't make it through the elevators without sweating. If you don't mind the 3-4 block walk, the A station in 181st and Fort Washington is much better.
