I was offered very limited selections of options to choose from for flooring and carpeting to upgrade my house for a rental. I think they must have assumed that I wanted mediocre quality since it's set to be a rental. For carpet, I was given 2 options for colors to choose from. I was initially offered the 30oz carpet but I feared it would not be plush so I wanted to upgrade, so 40oz was the next up. For flooring, I had 3 options for colors to choose from. I choose what was best based on what was presented to me. They took 2 days to install over a period of a week. I guess it's normal for after installation of the flooring that they don't install the toilets back for you? Anywho, after installation, I noticed the carpet felt CHEAP, I wondered if the upgrade was done? I can't imagine what the 30oz version would feel like. The flooring also cheap looking and felt slippery, maybe because it was new. I hope that wears off otherwise it's going to be an issue. Not happy with the results I complained about it to Mike, the properties manager. He was pleasant and we worked out the solution for it. What I learned from the experience was I can't trust the experts/professionals to do the right thing and pick out what I need over emails. They made it easy for me choose by giving me limited options but I should have asked about the quality. I needed to come to the showroom and feel the products out first to know what to expect for such an expensive project.

We explained to him that we are very particular and that's why we wanted a great quality and value floor. They did an amazing job on our wood floors and we would use them again in a heartbeat. We compared doing engineered wood floors, luxury vinyl plank, and some other options, but in the end I'm so glad we chose what we did- it's been I've a year now and the floors still look amazing and we don't have one complaint! Do yourself a favor and Call Jorgensen wood floors- you will be happy you did!

We had gotten a few other estimates and his was the best, also other estimates were for kitchen floor only!!! Aaron was honest and upfront with us and said he didn't think that it would match the other two areas unless we redid all 3 areas. One business said it would take him 2 weeks and dust would be atrocious as he didn't have the equipment to eliminate the dust!!! He said he would have to cover furniture with plastic and tape off other areas and remove tvs from the area!!!!!!!! We said no thank you!!!!!!! Aaron has a state of the art dust removal system and what an incredible job!!!!!!!!!! I don't think I would have had to dust anything after he was done...but what I did dust was what was there before he came to do the floors!!!! LOL!!!!!! Highly recommend this guy and his work, integrity, pleasant personality, punctuality...everything!!! Thanks again Aaron for your amazing work!!!!!!!!!!!!!
