The store deli and bakery offer wonderful things. There is a meat counter that I use regularly when home. The store also has already prepared food and snacks. In addition to the cafe there is a pretty extensive liquor store also attached. They have a really good beer selection along with liquor. There is a gas station out front. I requested a special made one (bacon, sausage, egg, and cheese) and the woman at the counter, Jennifer, said "I can only do a sandwich with two bacons or two sausages." My response - perfect. Make me two sandwiches and split the meat on both of them. She got so irritated, literally for no reason and said "it will be 20-25 minutes." Oh. Is the dough still rising for the bread? It seemed so petty and controlling, and then she was surprised when I said "sure, I'll wait." You could tell she grew increasingly irritated so I said never mind, I'll just buy a sandwich that has been sitting here for a few hours. And that I did, and they were overlooked and old and unenjoyable. Thank you Jennifer, for the best breakfast ever. You're such a gem. She did however make me fresh hash browns that weren't salted and fell apart when I tried to eat them.
