I showed him a photo of a poison ivy vines and was given something entirely different not even resembling what I asked for. when I expressed my disappointment he told me to trust the process and shading would fix it, it did not. Even beyond the fact it's not what I asked for, that tattoo sucks, the quality is lacking and i am extremely dissatisfied. Further beyond that my service dog was denied entry for future reference. Under federal law he is legally required entry and protected by the federal disability act. overall experience was horrible and I cannot stress enough about the lack of quality from this shop. Just responding to the owners concerns- Whether his license is valid or not is neither here nor there, that is just what I was told, it is none of my concern now, but I do believe it should be a shared concern. My boyfriend has text where he asked for HIS personal work and we were shown the said reference photos that were in fact not his. And during the tattoo appointment I did express that I was not happy with the design but was told to "trust the process" As far as my service dog, he was redirected because he is in TRAINING. He was under the chair so he would be out of the way. And I did provide his license even though I am not required. I understand the sanitation issue which is why I respectfully did return but it doesn't mean I am all that happy with the disregarding of his training process. I have posted a screenshot below showing that a specific identification leash/vest/etc. is not a requirement

They were very professional on the phone and were able to squeeze me in before our dinner reservations. The owner Pagan, met with us after he finished up his last appointment of the day. He was great! He was patient and real with us about style placement and took the time to give his full attention. He made us feel comfortable and excited about our endeavor. After about 5 minutes we decided we wanted him to do the work. After trying to figure out the best time for us to come back, he said "let's just do it now ", and so we did! Now keep in mind they were about to close for the day, and he didn't rush us or make us feel like we were imposing. This was a great experience for us. He was very personable and it was the most fun we've ever had a tattoo shop. My son was a little nervous about it because it was his first time, but Pagan made him feel at ease and even was cutting up with him, and now I think our son is hooked after his experience. Pagan and I discussed other tattoos for myself in the near future, so we will definitely be back. It's people like him that make these types of experiences enjoyable and something to look forward to.

But because I travel there with my daughter, we make a day of it. We have been traveling to Alabama for our tattoos since 2017. The tattoo artists that are at Abro are personable and amazing! They are our extended family. Each artist has their own talent, and their own style. The array of technique and vision for each artist is unique and each piece of work is done with expertise.
