I worry about MVCS. Our two sons graduated with the 2nd son having finished with his 12th grade…read moreyear less happy due to changes in staff and programming. But that was about 4 years ago. We have a young niece in MBCS but we are uncertain if MVCS will be as good as it used to be. Hopeful but uncertain. Why? Because our younger son kept in touch with friends still there and have received some unfavorable reports, especially about a two year college credit program called I think IB (?) which has been with problems. And the problems have shown up in decrease in student population. Beautiful campus. We hope reforms improve things at MVCS so we can send our niece there when she is ready for high school. As a current MVC student in 8th grade MVCS is the best option for a private and christian school…read morewith a huge campus and beautiful scenery. There is only one flaw in the community I have noticed. Some parents send their kids here because they can easily afford it not because they are christian. And most of the time it's the students that go here that don't believe in Christ not the parents. I believe the school does do its best in helping students find Christ but some students just ignore that and don't care. They poke fun at students who follow Christ and try to make them like to forget about it. Sometimes it's not that bad but I think thats its not right. Another thing is the hate towards the staff is so forced and is not right. The dean of students Mr. Radar is a truly nice person and cares that the students do good in behavior. For some reason a lot of students especially those who get in trouble hate him so much. Like it's not his fault you got in trouble it's just his job to help you get out of that situation that you were in before and how to stay in the good. Students need to grow up and respect their piers and should not hate those just because of what they do at the school. This is the best school that I have gone to in my life and will most likely stay like that. -Simon Jesse Ortiz V

I've learned a lot about interacting with young children just by watching them. Plus the facilities are lovely. I like that the space is cheerful tidy. It's not crammed with so many toys that it feels chaotic My only complaint is very a small one. At the Preschool II (little red school house) there aren't really any trees or vegetation on the playground. It would be nice if there was a bit of the "natural world" out there. Other than that, our experience has been great!

The rooms actually look and are set up like a real school. They touch on the Bible but it's not heavy handed. So even for those of us who aren't religious it's still a good choice. The teachers are amazing and very loving. I am pleasantly surprised with this school and it's only a few dollars more a month then then other local preschools and they include lunch in the price of tuition. It's a Nut Free school. They provide really healthy lunches that are organic and made onsite. They always include both fruit and veggies. You won't find any chocolate milk or junk food at this school. Miss Katie is my sons teacher. If it wasn't for her help my son wouldn't already be potty trained. She is so patient and creative. She really loves her job and it shows. I've tried two other preschools in the area and there is no comparison in the level of education, care and a staff that's happy to be there. They do Christmas pageants and it's adorable. I unequivocally recommend this Baymonte preschool. I do not have any knowledge about the other locations.

If you know the Bible you will hear that he is right on the Word and he strives to educate his now small congregation. I have no doubt this church will grow under his service for the Lord. My understanding is that this church is been there for a few decades but Pastor Marshall took on this church about a year or more. I am so glad I found this church. They have the following: Saturday - outreach - 10:30 am Sunday 9 AM - Men's Prayer Sunday 9:30 AM - Sunday School Sunday 10:30 AM - Service Wednesday 6:30 PM - Bible Study I have attended about a month and they are an ACTIVE little church. I can see God will bless. Members and welcoming and down to earth. I appreciate that the service is given with the lights on - God is light. I appreciate that the walls are a light natural color - not black - God is light I appreciate the music, piano and singing from hymn book. I appreciate the activities for the children - they are working to bring the little children. I appreciate the after church activities - great way to bring the body of Christ together for fellowship. Great little church. We all need one.

The service we received from the camp director Jeremy was excellent, the food service was really great and even though we did have a minor hiccup communicating our requests for special diets, every one was well taken care of and the food was delicious. The facilities there are wonderful and we had a great event, utilizing the auditorium for Three days. They have so many ways to pass the time, from the giant slide, to the fire pits, softball green, zip line, hiking trails, camp store, coffee kiosk etc plus the general natural beauty of the surroundings. The big bonus is the is no wireless there thought they do have wifi, but it is spotty. Come, unplug and enjoy the quiet and nature.

Room accommodations for wifey and I were fantastic as we had a cabin all to ourselves with 3 bunk beds in it. The main sanctuary was also very nice. The food, while there was plenty of it "all you can eat" I felt was sub par, for instance, we had French toast one morning, and the bread was hard as a rock like it was leftover from the day before. IMO the food gets 2 stars. Everything else 4 stars.
