I recently had a family member in town to golf, we went to the Salina GL and had a really bad…read moreexperience with four regulars who drove us all the way down the course. .We are not the best golfers and always on the fairway, but if you are looking for a ball and turn around on they are bombing away on you and even hitting on our green....We take no more than allowed looking time and keep moving. We waved them through on this hole, but the other two were looking their ball while their buddies had already chipped on our green. They didn't even apologize for doing so...really....We took off and lost them for two holes and they again were hitting on us, hitting just 3 feet from our cart. I told my brother that this has been a problem in Salina and that is why as a member, I don't like to golf in town...other members I know and work with, say the same..we would rather travel than play here and not enjoy the game....My brother plays in the bigger cities and much nicer places and he could not believe this would happen on a weekday....We never said a word to these four guys and just tried to play faster, which sucks and your game sucks.BTW....finally the course is looking so much better after all these years of waiting....too bad it gets ruined by some of your regulars that get to golf more than once a week...GL should be concerned about this behavior, because it has been a problem for years, Ive heard about it throughtout the community.
