I understood it was due to heightened security. I had to quickly find a place or a service that would keep my luggage not only overnight, but for a few days. I found Eelway here on Yelp, with 5 stars and 31 reviews. That's not a lot of reviews, but I took a leap of faith. It was the best thing. I placed my request online at almost 11pm for the following morning pick up. Famara came and picked my luggage up at the Westin within the window of time requested. Very professional and efficient. I had scheduled drop off at the Sheraton Paris at CDG and my luggage was delivered to the hotel early. I received and email stating it was delivered. I called down to the reception and the hotel staff brought it up to my room. Bag in tact! See the picture with the green tag. Eelway is professional and reliable. They keep you abreast of the status of tour luggage and they also make it so easy to make updates (like I had to extend a day because I mistakenly wrote the wrong date). Another plus is that it's so reasonably priced! 45€ for the pick up, storage for 4 days and the drop off! So if you're ever in Paris and don't want to deal with lugging your bags around, try Eelway!

In less than 30 minutes we were at Palais Garnier(opera house) in the heart of Paris. She elegantly led through the streets instilling all her knowledge of Paris and France. Janice sat me down with a cafe ole, and proceeded to inform me all about; neighborhoods, cafes, cabs, taxis, trains and the very important Paris metro system. Since my trip was to south she was in charge of getting me on to my train without fail, with threats of a national Rail Strike. My guide ensured me that I will get to my final destination and beyond. Without fail I was on a High Speed train to Lourdes France to begin a truly remarkable vacation, and by the time I got back to Paris I felt like an expert in getting around. We first skyped with Sharon and Rich to plan out our trip, mainly to find the best out of the way places. We started the trip with a personal Airport pickup. Then we spent the next 4 days on some great private tours. First the Montmartre art & culture tour, then the Marais shopping tour (my wife designed her own perfume scent), then the Tuileries Waterlilies & Hot Chocolate Tour (love that Angelina's Hot Chocolate). But the best part though, was when Janice (a Jazz singer her self) took us on a custom Jazz music tour to the best out of the way Jazz venues, and gave us the low down on the Paris Jazz culture. We also wanted to to Marianne's private gallery tour, but the timing was not right. We'll do that one the next time, and probably the Cheese market tour, and (maybe) the 'Gotta Dance' tour. My wife and I got married at Les Salons Hoche in October 2019. We selected the venue without having…read morevisited in person, and instead relied on photos/reviews and the help of our main contact, Guiliana. The venue was absolutely beautiful. We had the Haussman apartments for the bridal parties to get ready hours before the ceremony which were large and well decorated, perfect for pictures. Our first look took place in a beautiful Parisian courtyard with our bridal party looking on from balconies above us. Les Salons Hoche provided us with a 1950's Rolls Royce and a driver to take us around Paris for photos (Bir-Hakeim overlooking the Eiffel Tower, and a side road with the Arc de Triomphe in the background). When we returned, our wedding took place on the rooftop, enclosed in glass and beautifully decorated. After the ceremony, we moved downstairs to another room for the cocktail hour with extra space in the courtyard. The reception took place in a beautiful, marble-floored room called Etoile. Every little detail, whether we discussed it or not, was perfectly done. They host a lot of events there, so when you visit before the wedding (we were there 4 days before ours) there is lots of work going on. On the day of the wedding though, the location is completely transformed with tasteful details (white curtains, flowers, candles, etc.). The food was amazing. We upgraded our food package (to "Prestige") and it exceeded expectations. Our guests, who mainly come from New York City and attend lots of weddings, raved about the quality/flavor/abundance of food during cocktail hour and during dinner. For dinner, we had the salad with lobster and mango (excellent), Beef Tenderloin (very well cooked unlike most wedding food), and Assortment of Cheeses (you're in France, of course, this is good :) ) , and the Cake (American style with strawberry inside - this was a huge hit with our guests). This was all made possible because of the hard work and excellent communication of Guiliana. She was amazing to work with and spent hours with us discussing the venue, food, timing, and all the small details. We worked with her across multiple time zones (9 hour time difference) and she always made herself available to work with us. Wedding planning can be stressful, especially from afar, but Guiliana made this an enjoyable experience for us. The true test of the success of a wedding comes after it's all over. Perfectly located just blocks away from Champs-Élysées and next to several chic hotels, the space is a fabulous. The décor is classically Parisian chic with polished marble and glittering chandeliers. But what really sets it apart is the food and the service. It's a family-run business and you can really tell they're on top of things. I can still remember the steak with foie gras and the lemon tart...to die for!! All the waiting staff was super professional and warm--definitely different than the rest of Paris. Hopefully I'll get invited back to some other celebration!
