This review is for Adrianna & Khoi. Trying to feel beautiful is a struggle, let alone after two breakups and the stress of finding a job post-graduation (which is where I am at in my life right now and I'm almost always sad because of it). I want to preface my life situation to highlight the magnitude of customer service it would take to remove me from that. On the flip side, being a woman can be so incredibly fun. Playing with your look and beauty products can be something that increases your confidence to hold your head up high even if it's just for the day. That's how I feel two days after leaving Sally Beauty (1114 Commerce Ave.). Overall both ladies were helpful and attentive. Not just to me but to other customers. I also didn't feel ignored when a customer would come in the store, I was listened to and attended to but the other customers were also greeted which nice. Adrianna immediately helped me find the right product for bleaching my hair- which was perfect. She was honest about her review of product and sensitive to my budget. I'm very thankful for that I would like to give a substantial shout out to Khoi. I believe she is the store manager there. But I shared a moment with her while I was getting rung up for product where she was able to empathize with me the power beauty has to make a woman feel special and beautiful and confident. It really meant a lot to me that she vocalized I wasn't just throwing money away (because as a student every penny spent gets scrutinized by myself) but doing something for myself and that I deserved it. It was such a lovely moment and after administering the right product I can say I do feel beautiful and am one step closer to being that confident woman. It may have been a short interaction, but it was lovely and it reminded me that beauty is fun and incredible and the interaction meant a lot to me. read more

The receipt I received didn't mention no makeup returns so when I went to return a makeup product that didn't work for me I wasn't expecting to be told that I couldn't return it. The women that work there seemed shocked and even offended that I wanted to return it and said "we don't accept returns on makeup" with an attitude like as if I had insulted them personally. I won't be buying from there anymore. read more

Would not recommend this store. Bought a 120 dollar product and returned it never used clearly I could get my money back as it said on the receipt and denied it. GO to cosmo prof if you don't want to lose your money. read more

Well i went in to grab some hair dye i told the girl what i was looking for a medium brown to match my natural hair and cover my gray hair and the worker by the name of Xolly either is incompetent or clearly wasn't paying attention she offered to grab the hair dye and check out my purchase. I just came home and dyed my hair and it turned my hair orange why you may ask she either has no clue what she's talking about or is incompetent and grabbed the wrong hair dye and when i went back to get a dark brown shade to cover the orange she had the audacity to ask "why are you going darker now" after she didnt know what she was talking about and now i have orange hair. I will never return to this store the workers are lazy uneducated and sit around. read more

Went to buy some hair dye and some conditioner, I didn't have a problem until I went to pay. Lady at the cash register was super rude. I was being nice and tried to be considerate about something and she gave me such attitude-- literally treated me as if I was a child. NEVER going to that specific store again. read more

Service is a little lacking. Can walk aimlessly for a while, even past employees and not be acknowledged. But when you do get help it is friendly and knowledgeable. Tons of beauty supplies , even very high quality stuff. Some of it you need to have a beauticians license to purchase. Great place read more

I'd give it a zero but I cannot. I was going to bleach and dye my hair pink, so I went to Sally's and asked for "professional" help. The lady I talked to sounded like she knew what she was talking about and here I am with orange hair, do extra research on which items you need. Don't listen to them they could be wrong. read more
