This was something I researched and read about for a good year and a half before finally getting done. While I have used a pencil and then brow gel for the last 5 years or so, I was tired of spending time on my over plucked brows and just wanted a good filled in look that I didn't have to do anything to! And over all, it has been an extreme success. I've saved so much time in the mornings not having to fool with my brows. Now, I will say that my brows are not even and I am waiting to do my follow up appointment to hopefully fix. But as a day to day, what I have works. On the other hand, I also got an eyebrow lift/perm. That didn't take at all. I was extremely disappointed in the outcome from that and would not recommend that at all. I was not pleased with my service from start to finish. A salon is supposed to make you feel warm and it should be accomodating. This place lacked both. First off, like most folks these days, I am on a tight budget. I called and asked how much a ladies cut and style was. I was told 42 dollars. However, I live close this place and I can wash my own hair, throw it up and run right over. I asked how much that would be on initial call, and I was told 30 dollars. I scheduled appt and did just that. I arrived promptly at proper time and immediately asked if my stylist was there. She was not but arrived shortly. Issue 1. Tardiness. I then asked owner for a price sheet, or something. She said she didn't have anything like that. Issue #2. The owner told her I didnt want my hair washed. She was like lets see how wet it is. Hey. I just told you it is wet. It was very wet, even in the intense summer heat. My hair did look like garbage but I made it very clear, I wanted to be able to put it in ponytail. This french chick, Martine, showed me where she suggest it be cut and I greed. Little did I know these days these salons will charge you an amt if your hair is very long, as mine "used to be. " But that's irrelevant. She cut it almost 3 inches shorter than the agreed upon length. The standard old boring shoulder haircut. In addition to the length, I found her french personality to be very dry and not the typical southern charm I am accustomed to. It was like pulling teeth trying to have a conversation with her. She should be striking up a convo with me, not me trying to get some sort of conversation from her. I am so displeased with my service at Renew bc of this lady. I found her dry and unlikeable. My hair is Way to Short. This lady did as she pleased regardless of my expectations and still charged me forty bucks for chopping off my hair. I could have gone to great clips for that. I wouldn't suggest Renew on 280 to any southern lady for your hair care needs. I believe they need to stick to doing nails..if you know what I mean..

I made an appointment for eyebrow threading, henna brows, and individual lash extensions. Let me make a note about the appointments. Because they take walk-ins as well, they may not be available at your exact appointment time. However, you usually do not have to wait too long. On yesterday, I made my appointment for when they opened at 10:00 AM so I didn't have to wait at all. My service provider was very nice and professional. She would stop to ask if I was okay and check in to see if I liked what she was doing. I'm very happy with how everything turned out. I think I will start coming here on a more consistent basis. I'm interested in trying some of their facial services because they are reasonably priced. I definitely recommend this place!
