I have found the Doctor and staff to be fantastic. They alerted me to potential problems and how they were checking annually to ensure we addressed them if needed. The frame selection is good, and for the first time in my life, I was able to get the same frames that I had last year (and I love). Price-wise, it is obviously insurance-dependent, but I am paying less now than I did a few years back. Lastly, I was told to expect my frames back in two weeks, and I received my progressives with all the bells and whistles in 5 business days (even with a holiday and weekend in the middle)! So quick!

Supposedly you will receive a link to rebook, but the link never comes. So the 3rd time, still no results. Online on the website is the only result I got to cancel thru the virtual chat. I had to do that twice because I needed to cancel for both me and my spouse and the virtual chat can only do one at a time. I bet I wasted an hour and a half of my time trying to cancel. I was going to reschedule, but I decided that I'm done here. Will search for a more reliable, patient-friendly place.

Went through my primary care physician and was referred to Advanced Dermatology. Saw the PCP on…read moreMonday and she marked the referral urgent. Exactly one week later having heard nothing I called my PCP's office and was given the number of Advanced Dermatology. When I called, they did not know if the referral was received and could not tell me when or if it would get to their system. I then made another call to my PCP office, and they agreed to resend the referral. Having heard nothing the next two days, I went out on my own and was able to get a next-day appointment with a Greenville dermatologist. The next day the Advanced Dermatology "Referral" department called to set-up an appointment. Who knows how long it would have taken to see a doctor. This is no way to run a doctor's office. I am lucky in one respect in that I have a Medicare Supplement and not an Advantage Plan. This allows me to shop around without financial penalty. Best of luck if you get referred to this practice.

My first memory of the place was taking a kindergarten class trip to the office where Dr. Byerly showed us all about being a dentist. Fast forward about 15 years or so (can't remember exact dates) and Dr. Byerly sold the office to Dr Ray, and it's been in great hands ever since. Dr. Ray renovated the place and it is a super nice office. The staff is incredibly friendly and gentle with their cleanings. Many of them have been there for a very long time. Dr. Ray is a great dentist who is very personable, as well as Dr. Murray. You're in great hands at Carolina Dental Studio, I highly recommend them if you are looking for a Dentist.
