I decided to stop in one day. I was looking for banana clip to achieve a particular style. I was…read moregreeted as soon as I entered by a man behind the counter. I walked around to see what all the store offered. Once I left an aisle he entered and it was a bit puzzling. I wasn't sure if I was being followed and targeted or he needed to take a look at a product. He asked if I was looking for a particular item. I mentioned a banana clip and showed a picture. He said that he didn't have them but would be open to purchasing them. He's the owner, it was nice to know that he was offering the option to carry the items. He offered another item. I declined and left. I decided to return because I was looking for a shampoo brush. I called before visiting to make sure it was available. Certain items are worth purchasing in person without waiting for shipping. I also wanted to support a Black owned business. I entered and was pleasantly greeted as another customer was wrapping up and leaving. I asked about the location of the shampoo brush and easily fell into conversation with the lady working. She was very nice and conversational. She encouraged me to follow the company on Instagram. I would recommend this business and revisit.

I LOVE shopping here. The owners are so sweet and personable. Whenever I go into the "Chinese…read moreshops" I dont feel like they truly care about my (hair care) needs they just try to sell me any ol products and only care about me spending my money. However, at Universal Beauty Supply, being that one of the owners actually specializes and does hair (licensed cosmetologist) I truly feel like I'm getting good advice on hair products and products to grow my hair.
